Moreno vs Santa Cruz

Good fight. I still think Morenos be the nigaguarian sweet pea just had a bad night gainst that other Spanish dude.

 

Santa Cruz is very good, but he's not stopping Moreno.

I want Santa Cruz to win, but it MIGHT not be in the cards.

 

He kept making some mistakes again and again.
In one round he had Mares hurt on the ropes and all Mares could do was swing for his dear life. He managed to find an opening and Moreno ran into the same shot two or three times.
Seems like it was experience that got Mares the W but he could have just as easily lost the fight.

Heck of a matchup and i am going with Moreno.

Mares' volume kept him inactive for half of the rounds in their fight, so I would not be shocked if LSC, where activity is his game, was able to mimic that same success.

 

I think Moreno wins. He gave Mares a great fight, Santa Cruz is solid but very unpolished. He'd get out-boxed IMO.

 

Boyeeee! I hate to disagree with you gents on Moreno cause I really like him as a fighter but Leo is a monster. I don't see anybody at 118 ****ing with Leo. He's got one of the coldest body attacks in the game and mixes up his combos like alphabet soup. He's got a great chin and applies relentless pressure. Morneo's ass is in big trouble.:bbb:yep

Moreno is too economical to beat a busy fighter like Santa Cruz..

That would be a good look for a youngster trying to show he is at the Mares Donaire Level...
