So there isn't one lift in a set of 5x5 or 3x3 or whatever that is off?

    You lift perfect every time?

    GTFO of here.

All it takes is one time.

  4. Mate, shut up its not even funny I just hope you are trolling because if you take what you are saying seriously then thats worrying.

You can tear ligaments in your knee doing pistol squats, **** over your shoulder doing dips, break your neck doing hand stand pushups. Just 3 examples of how you could injure yourself with bodyweight exercises which is also never perfect.

Explain to me why these and any other injury you could get from bodyweight exercises don't count.

meant to put power starts from the legs not punch :tired

you generate the power firstly from the transfer of your weight from the back foot to the front foot at the same time as turning the hips to then release the back hand for maximum power

if your stance is open & square to target ,you will be hitting with your arms and no power aswel as taking body shots

Know where youre coming from :yep. But the response comes from the Hips. To generate Force onto the thing that moves us, the Floor :good

Also it occurs, that you being able to move the Floor, rather than the Floor moving you is the way Forward, in more ways than one :yep.

  12. Obviously great answers here (assuming) and probably a lot of **** fights.

Long story short, for power and many other benefits. You want to work your posterior chain. Which is obviously is the chain of muscle on the posterior side of your body

The primary exercises for developing the posterior chain are the Olympic lifts, squats, good-mornings, deadlifts and hyperextension; all exercises emphasing on hip extension

The ones you use in sparring and hitting the heavybag. Muscles matter less than having the right timing and mechanics.

You can be strong as an ox. Won't do you much good if you can't land a punch or a string of punches. Ask Shavers.
