B, never saw Jimmy Leto fight, but I saw him when I was in the Navy and he was retired...Toughest looking dude you'll ever meet and one helluva fighter...So good Leto had to go to Australia to get fights along with a WW Tommy Jones who used to spar with me when I was a young boy and lived next door to a trainer of John Henry Lewis....,

This content is protected Leto lost a trilogy against Jack Carroll in Australia, not long after talks of a title fight between Ross and Carroll began, it was also set to be held in Australia, Carroll's manager however failed to gain enough financial backing to secure the fight and it fell through. Can you comment at all about Leto's style Burt?
Great thread! Leto is one guy whose name keeps popping up whenever one does research on the greats. He was a tough, difficult proposition for all of them. The type of fighter everyone has respect for.
