Mundine beat Soliman thrice over, so career-wise he is greater.

Right now, in 2013, Soliman is better. The Soliman who beat Sturm today would finally notch a W over the Mundine who lost the Geale rematch earlier this week.

Dont know about the financial situation in Aussie boxing but this would be the next one if it were 2 Brits imo, particularly when one looks superior to the other, and the latter has had a long career and may be after one last payday. That is,if Soliman wants to hang on a bit longer he may not want it straight away. But although I believe better boxers have never won a title, congratulations to him.He did well last night in a close one.

Honestly, Soliman did just enter the top 10 MW, and many will disagree but I totally support Geale vs. Soliman before July, as Geale will be able to notch three defenses in the calendar year. Money is money, and it is now the top Australian domestic fight out there. Geale has been in many of those, so another against Soliman will put him in the loose realm of some of the best Australian fighters ever.

its kind of really sad that Soliman is fighting for a title.....

    FOR REAL!?!?!

The dood is old as ****, like 38-39, was NEVER that good to begin with (B/B+ caliber at prime), and it shows how small the talent pool Middleweight has. And he recently beat Felix Sturm at his home? lol......

Sorry, i can only take Martinez and Guerrero seriously.... GGG is on the fence. Had a pretty good fight but he played alot of defense with his face. And either that ex-basketballer has a ridiculous chin or mebbe he's not as powerful as he's heralded to be.

Soliman getting this fight is just laughable - then again, it should never have been a eliminator in the first place.

    X 2

Maybe, maybe, you could call Proksa and Soliman a push. But that's at best for Golovkin's argument.

Geale by UD in a slow and messy fight with Soliman spoiling his way through it, anyone else think Geale will have trouble "looking good" winning this one?

Good fight, Soliman sturm was entertaining and I think Soliman and geale will be better. Either fighter can win, both have high workrates and will be punching the whole 12 rounds. Good luck to both of them
