It was right as the bell was sounding. The white announcer is terrible.

 

Think Selby will win now, interesting to see how Joe Joyce does.

I think Joyce will struggle, the Croatian is very good and could well win gold if he is an amateur at Rio in 3 years time.

 

Quite an easy win for Selby, good that they won here.

I don't know how one of the judges scored it against Selby.

Selby could be a lot more effective if he didn't show boat as much though.

spoke too soon there didn't I? Showed some bottle to turn that back round again.

 

Joyce might not have best technique or defense in the world but hes strong as an ox has a fairly decent chin. That was a good win for him.

 

yeah, good little scrap to boot. Nice little night of boxing for a thursday.

 

His technique will improve with his experience.

He has a lot of stamina and throws a lot of punches.

 

Not pretending to be an expert at this but have said I liked this lad in other threads.One of them was which heavy should Hearn sign?Big,conditioned,takes a punch,decent jab,punches to the body.I think hed be a very good pro.The other guy was far,far better than the East Europeans were used to seeing against our prospects at the weight,and Joyce won well.If not pro,hell still do well.Chuffed for him.

 

Really good night of fights though, the WSB is really entertaining.

There is always at least 2-3 really good fights out of the 5 and pretty much every bout is really competitive.

 

Joe I agree with this,but he has learned some stuff,takes punches on his gloves.That Croatian looked a bit quick also IMO.Guessing Joyce is being taught by Robert McCracken and maybe Richie Woodhall when hes got time!Not a bad pair of professors.
