    Mosley/Margarito may have been my #1 fave moment.

    So MUCH happened in the build up, to the scandal, to Mosley not backing down. Just magnificent. I remember just falling to my knees when Shane dropped him the first time. Incredible stuff.

    It was just me and my girlfriend t her parents house. I was just telling her all night on to the fight....If Shane can hit Marg in his body early and land hard he has a shot at this, not good but he has a shot.

    Then bam. Shane cleans his ****ing clock. ATG stuff. :happy:happy

    LA is Shane's town :nono (n Oskees)

    One of myfavorites as well. The thing that made it even better was you could see it happening after the first round of the fight. Hector was very comfortable in there and it was the other guy not in his comfy zone he just loved--and had--to fight from. The former 130 pounder was twice as fast and had better footwork/accuracy/feints/you name it.

    It was kind of like Holmes-Cooney when Gerry went down in the second round. He simply was not going to win. Same thing with Ray. Beautiful. And here was another hand picked opponent with all advantages going to Ray & the public bought it lock stock and barrell.

    2 different answers here;

    Live fight attended would have to be Lyle--Shavers. That was even better than a few Saad efforts, incredibly enough.

    Watching would be Jones-Tarver 2. I never bought into Jones as the greatest thing and I sure didn't buy into Tarver as some human dynamo. Yet, a brutal 1 punch ko.

    Another classic 1 of sorts was the Booker T Word job on prospect Andrew Maynard. Man, they were sure hyping Maynard at the time and you would have thought the guy was going to be Bob Foster or something. Man did that blow out a lot of candles on the birthday cake.

    Mosley Margarito for me.

    Such a great upset. Before the fight a lot of people were fearing for the safety of Mosley. He'd fought a valiant effort against cotto who Margo had just destroyed brutally.

    Then Mosley started well but Margo had a big 6th round I think it was, looked like Margo was gonna turn it round and after hearing about the hand wraps I was gutted. Then Mosley had an even bigger 7th and just straight up pushed Margo's **** in.

    I was ecstatic seeing the finish. What a moment that was.

    Mosley-Margarito was fantastic. I was very excited when Shane started badly hurting Margo, especially the knockdown.

    I was rooting for Marquez all 4 times against Pacquiao and for him to score that kind of knockout in a round he was pretty much taking a beating in, that cemented him as my favourite fighter.

    Also it was very satisfying when Margarito got caught with loaded wraps, then got a prolonged domination from underdog grandpa Mosley, followed by a brutal knockout.

    I felt a bit cheated but Mayweather-Ortiz was satisfying only because of the blatant headbutt. Mayweather was totally right in doing that, I just wish it had been later in the fight.

    Louis-Walcott II and Louis-Schmeling II were great knockouts too. Neither of them wanted a third shot after that.
