Any idea of the legal ramifications of the SBW/Botha fight?

There seems to be little doubt that Nasser was responsible for the fight ending 2 rounds early.

    I'm thinking ...

that all the betting agencies who refunded the losing bets on Botha would be entitled to seek recompense from Nasser

Foxtel also could be entitled to some sort of recompense because the product delivered to them wasn't as promised/contracted

Every Pay for View customer could be entitled to a refund from Foxtel who would then be entitled to seek recompense from Nasser

Every paying customer at the fight could be entitled to a refund because the fight wasn't as advertised

The make believe Title that they fought for should be declared "vacant"

Of course none of this will happen coz somehow that sneaky, lying, coniving, manipulative refugee from a camel's arse ...Nasser...will somehow get away with the biggest bull**** stunt in Australian Boxing history...but "HEY"...I can dream...

It was bullsht but not the biggest bullsht stunt in AUS boxing, that award goes to Danny booshay Green for the Briggs fight he matched, promoted and advertised with only 6 weeks notice to a brain damaged, soft part of the skull Paul Briggs.

people who bet on the fight or bought the product via PPV are entitled to band together andstart a class action.

however, a single person that bought the product could ring a 'no win no pay' law firm and ask if its a case they would take to sue the appropriate entity. it would cost nothing to ring, ask, and state your case. if they say yes, it costs you nothing and will pocket at least half of what they win. they wont take the case if they cant win.

subway is getting sued for its foot long being only 11 inches. this is the same thing. you didnt get the advertised product.

At best you'd get your $40 back. Don't think any lawyer would be willing to take that.

Better chance of a class action.

If the fight was ended early to manufacture a result then it is major fraud and charges should be laid.

Yeah the wallopers should be involved. They need to find out if any insiders bet on the match. It just stinks, I mean who gives a **** if SBW loses a match? Does it really matter to his future prospects? I just don't get why you'd need to pull a stunt like this.

    Key word here being PRE-FIGHT.

It was confirmed by judges that it was not changed PRE-FIGHT it was changed MID-FIGHT.

This is a historic moment in ESB in which pretty much everyone agrees on the same thing, of course other than a pea brain in you buster , but no suprize since you also think Green threw the fight against Tarver :rofl
