If Khan had got the win against Peterson or even Garcia this would have happened, unfortunately I can't see Mayweather doing this and why would he?
Yall need to quit trying to pawn that weak ass fight on Mayweather. It ain't like Khan won't get tagged. He will get tagged hard and regular. Early knockout and easy payday.:bbb
knows what to keep on fighting well past his prime or knows how to travel to russia or poland, or do you mean he thinks khan speed thats all he as is enough to dare i say it beat mayweather :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:roflatschatsch
If Alexander is an option, Khan sure as hell is. Not sure if Khan and his team will do anything other than bark as usual, taking this fight might spell permanent doom for them.
What style?, the jump around the ring with predictable 1-2s and then hop about like a kangaroo when stunned/hurt?
Oh, neither have great success against Mayweather, was just stating that at least Guerrero can work whilst in the clinch, whereas Khan can not. Here's my issue with people who say, if Khan just stuck to his boxing in X bout, he wouldn't have been in trouble, or the opponent wouldn't have gotten close, or he wouldn't have been stopped. There is a reason all of the above has happened, his boxing ability (especially his boxing at long range) is overrated...and this isn't me just picking holes for the sake of it. He is undoubtedly very fast, and this has given him great success against almost all opponents he has been in with, even when he has been beaten (excluding Prescott). But there are very clear and obvious flaws in his outside game, the main ones being his footwork, balance and judge of distance. All needed if you're to have success against a Mayweather. Then we have composure, boxing on the backfoot at length, ring IQ, etc, etc. Garcia outboxed Khan. Khan had some very good success, but he was ultimately timed and outboxed. And you can argue others given that the definition of outboxed can be subjective due to the sport. I honestly don't see too much variety in his combinations, he becomes very predictable in his punches, and in his movements. IMO, easily dealt with by Mayweather.
Floyd doesn't need to sell anything... he knows Canelo will be on the undercard, and that'll generate plenty of PPV buys on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
I actually think Guerrero would defeat Khan rather easily and think Alexander would beat him too probably.
It's strange how people reject the evidence of thier own mind because they harbor a particular dislike for a fighter. Khan holds no mysteries for Floyd. I have watched all of Mayweather's professional fights and I have seen him walk fighters down, stand toe to toe. stick and move and box. He has good power and his skills and intelligence does not take a back seat to any fighter. Plus he takes a good punch. Now, if Khan had a good chin, it would be an interesting ass whooping but at this point it would only be an early rounds knockout. Khan ain't got nothing for Money May.:bbb
I'd pay to see this. khan has a better chance than the other two. S for Garcia out boxing Khan. WTF!!
Any ****** knows that Khan vs. Mayweather would be more entertaining and competitive than Mayweather vs. Alexander or Mayweather vs. Guerrero Khan is a bigger name than either ... he needs to have a couple of prep fights at 147 though before fighting Mayweather.
Provide your argument against Garcia outboxing Khan. He was tagging him with hard shots from round 1 onwards, he was getting tagged, but he was patient. He started getting the better of the exchanges, he timed Khan and hurt him, ultimately stopping him. Explain how that is not outboxing someone? Whoever lands the most effective punches on a round by round basis tends to win in boxing, if the bout goes 12, or not. Garcia did exactly that. He outboxed Khan to gain the stoppage.
