It seems like it would be the perfect job for any of us boxing fans. Getting to watch fights for FREE at RINGSIDE (btw what's the deal with people that buy ringside tickets? Anyone ever notice that they are the least enthusiastic people in the crowd? You barely see a reaction out of them except blank stares or checking their phone... Why pay thousands of dollars for that lol). So besides the obvious drawback of being a ref, such as the pressure and the **** you get, why does it rarely cross the minds of boxing fans? Is there some negative aspect of it that i'm not thinking about? Is there a maximum age requirement that you have to be lol? Anyone know what the process is to becoming one?
I can already picture the job description. Requirements: Must have a Diploma or GED Previous judging experience preferred but not necessary Must be willing to sell your pride and dignity for cash Must be over 75 Must have 1/20 eyesight, Alzheimer's, dementia or similar disease
