    Round 12

Miskirtchian is slapping wide with his left hook from too far out and missing. Evensen jabs and arcs in the right hand, flush. Nice three punch l-r-l combo by Evensen while leaning slightly inside. Evensen keeps squatting in with jabs to the body and continuing to move. Miskirtchian can't get his timing down. No sooner have I typed that, and BIG RIGHT HAND by Miskirtchian. Evensen down! He springs up immediately.

    Howard Foster stops it! :patsch

    TKO12!

    Terrible stoppage.

Good fight but I didn't like the ending (even though I'm an Armenian from Belgium just like Misk :hat)

Yeah, the stoppage was awful, and it put a damper on what had been a very good fight. Still, I'd love to watch these guys go at it again.

It sort of had an Abraham vs. Stieglitz vibe to it, for me.

Heavy shots VS great activity, I thought about it too.

Brian Mathiasen (Expert in the Danish studio) predicted six knockouts. We got seven, but is furious about the last one too, and insists it doesnt count :!:

Miskirchian was ahead on the cards. 105-104 x2 and 105-103.

Thanks Malden. Don't feel as bad for losing the bet (still won on the over anyway).

Even though it could have hurt me, I didn't think the stoppage was THAT bad. It surprised me, but then Evenesen didn't seem too upset. As the Brit announcers said, the ref was closer and perhaps saw something not there in his eyes.

Also, I'm not one for the ref to factor the time left in these decisions. Either the guy is fit to go on or he isn't.

I still disagree with it, but I didn't think it was an outrage.

NP. Yeah, and it is not the refs job to know about the time, and seeing the scores, makes it easier too. Evensen was going to lose anyway.
