Think as it gets closer and sky start really pushing it then a lot of people saying no now will end up buying it with excitement. I know I will
yep, thats how it works. I nearly got excited about Broner-Rees when they showed that promo clip, so anything can happen!
I won't buy any fight on PPV. I'll probably end up going to a local pub to watch it, if I can find any that will be showing the fight.
probably illegal means for me, sick of putting money in promoters pockets. if frampton, brook, rees, selby are all in decent fights on the undercard with one or two decent heavyweight fights, maybe a fight like barker vs. smith and then a few prospects I'd pay. asking for that type of show is not unreasonable when you're parting with your money in these times. I'm sick of good fight, then a semi big name vs. a **** fighter then a bunch of **** fights for £15.
I don't do PPV. It's ruined the general sports fan viewing of the sport and pushed it into a niche sport status. I don't care how good the main event or the under card is. It's bad enough the channel buying, let alone when you have the channel and they want you to buy a "special" fight. They can all go to hell. I'll catch it later when I have to.
I will watch it on HBO....which I don't pay for, along with Showtime But if I was in the UK I would watch it with 4-5 mates. They were nevwr interested in Boxing but watched every single Sky PPV.
I agree. I really can't see many of Sky's casual viewers paying for this fight. Froch isn't big business, he isn't even a massive name in Nottingham and is disliked by many people.
Its not a ppv fight. It is a cracking match up and putting it on ppv is going to mean people wont see a really good advert for the sport. Im sure in other countries it wont be on ppv so why here? The Brits are being had over!
Yes its cheaper than buying a 100 quid ticket for a grand on ebay, ****ing twats. Oh and its a good fight as well
Block 409, row H. I'll not be giving any money to Sky. Even if I wasn't there I wouldn't pay for PPV, I'd watch the scrap in a boozer, or...ahem...watch it somewhere else.
