Carl Froch aint in the same league as Joe Calzaghe skill wise.

Chalk and cheese. In fact its worse than that. Fire and water. You cant get much further apart! How can people even talk about them in the same sentence?

Luckily for Carl Froch he never got a taste, he would have been destroyed, picked apart, made to look amateur and demoralized mentally by Joe a long time ago. It would have been all over before it even started.

    Ask Lacy.

Styles make fights and Froch would have been turned inside out, overwhelmed and humbled all in one night. I doubt very much he'd be where he is now, if Calzaghe dealt with him years ago.

but Froch has failed two of his tests and IMO lost against Dirrell also. Calzaghe's resume is not great, but he has the win over Hopkins and the win over Kessler, who Froch lost to. Then there is Eubank and Reid. Because of this, he edges Froch, even if you give Froch the win against Dirrell. There's no that much in it in terms of achievements and Froch could surpass Calzaghe should he win against Kessler and step up to LH and beat someone like Dawson or Pascal. As it stands, Calzaghe has this title.

Head to head of course, Calzaghe pwns him.

On pure ability it's khan on resume and overall it's probably Calzaghe

nonsense. Unless by ability you mean speed. And half of his speed advantage is because he doesn't punch properly.

Like his ability to think in the ring, his ability to fight to a game plan, and the ability to defend. He's missing half the skills needed to even be considered.

Calzaghe, not a difficult question if you look at it from a nutral point of view.

Ability-wise Khan isn't anywhere near the likes of Calzaghe, Hatton, Froch or even Haye.

Even transplanting his chin for a Hatton-level one, he can still be out-boxed by pretty average fighters.
