It came accross the radio this morning that the information on the positive drug test came from the Nasser camp...Believe what you will

All I know is that I am so over anything...any kind of promotion that sleazy ***** is involved in.

I go back to the days when Ali was called Cassius Clay...and was brought up on a diet of stories about the great fighters of old...Louis...Marciano etc

All that I can say about this whole sorry episode is"I'm gutted":blood

 

The whole thing is corrupt from start to finish.

 

The result , the 12rnd to 10rnd controversy now the drug allegations .

It has all the markings of a Khoder Nasser farce , the bloke should be banned from ever promoting a boxing event again .

 

If these allegations against Botha are false...and he never even took a drug test...Then I hope he sues the **** out of the papers and the journalists that reported it.

He's make more money out of that than he will from future fights

 

Hopefully this will be the end for Nasser as far as promoting dodgy shows...he managed to get away with it for a long time with Mundine - in particular vacating the IBO MW belt when ordered to rematch Geale, saying he was moving down to 154 to fight Medley, then renegging on that and making Medley come up to MW a week before the fight, all behind the excuse/claim that the IBO were anti-Mundine and he didn't have a fair chance fighting under their judges again.

SBW isn't innocent in all this either - posting updates on his Facebook page saying how proud he is of winning the title while remaining quiet about Khoder's swifties just shows he's as complicit in it as anyone. He's copping lots of stick from people posting comments on his page.

One thing this fiasco has succeeded in doing - taking the heat off Mundine for whining about being robbed against Geale

 

What I found so suss about these drug claims are that they didn't come out until Botha was on the plane back to SA. :hey

Nasser is pure scum.

 

Sonny Bill claims corruption cost Choc the win...yet only a week later it helped him gain the win.

 

What a horrible, disgusting, disgrace all of this is.

It is truly embarrassing that this is the state of the sport in this country. ****ing shameful.

Fantastic claims require fantastic proof, Nasser will be the one who has to come up with the goods. Botha cried robbery and called them cheats which is a serious statement from a bloke who "signed" a 10 round contract.
Someone on his team is in on it, or has been intimidated/paid to cop it sweet. Too many punters got screwed this time to shut up. Who cares about the refunds when most still believe they had/have a winning ticket.
Nasser has got everyone's dough.
