Botha admits he was paid off to lose??

Makes sense as he did nothing for 8rds and tried numerous times to get DQ hitting on the break and after the bell.

Then in the 10th (i believe Botha knew it was only 10rds) he gave SBW a flogging making sure he didn't completely stop him in the last 30 seconds when he had a chance to....... He was making a statement that SBW was toast if he decided to try.

Khoder Nasser now has the shits with Botha on several fronts. 1. He punched the **** out of SBW in the last rd. 2. He whinged to the crowd and media about it only being 10rds when Khoder had already arranged with his camp about the details. 3. Dirty tactics during the fight hitting poor SBW after the breaks etc

Botha's camp will hold Nasser to ransom if he doesn't pay, Botha is virtually retired and won't care if he doesn't fight again. Expect fireworks from Botha if he doesn't get paid

Its all well and good he signed a contract 12 months ago that said 10 rounds, But what still needs to be answered is why during the weigh in, even SBW said it was a 12 round fight, All the judges on fight night thought it was 12 rounds, it was advertised as a 12 round fight.

Wouldn't you have thought the promoter would have clarified at the weigh it that it would be a 10 round fight if that was to be the case?

He always said he signed a 10 round contract fight

For a fight in South Africa

That wasn't for a world title

    Bit different

I think Botha's quote has been taken out of context - he was interviewed on NZ radio and said the contract for their fight that was originally supposed to be in Cape Town last year was for 10 rounds only.

He said Nasser was now trying to refer to that contract as proof the fight was always only ever going to be 10 rounds long, but that since the fight was moved to Brisbane, other details had changed, including the fight being 12 rounds long, as it went from being a non-title fight to a regional title fight.

What's interesting to me is the fact that the fight had to be pushed back because SBW apparently suffered a shoulder injury playing Rugby in Japan and had to fly in to Sydney to get operated on.

I'm starting to wonder if this hasn't been some sort of "long con" :think

Has Nasser been sneaky enough to originally schedule the fight in Cape Town to gain international attention, convince SBW to fake an injury to buy him time to get the fight moved to Brisbane where no boxing authority exists, claim the fight was for a WBA title to keep Botha interested and maintain international attention, while all along intending to reduce the number of rounds to 10 on the night of the fight?

What are the implications of that? Has SBW faked the injury on Nasser's instructions? What does that say about his attitude towards the Japanese rugby club he had to cut short his tenure at because of his injury?

Sold it as 12 rounds to the public. Sold it as 12 rounds to MainEvent. Advertised as 12 rounds to betting agencies.
When bookies have better ethics than you do, you are in strife.

I don't know I read SBW won the first 7 and Botha swept the last 3. I think it's a fix and the controversy will build hype for the rematch.

Tom Waterhouse advertised money back on Nicerno (max $25) if it ran 2nd in the Caulfield Cup
The website crashed on Caulfield Cup Day.
He credited every account with 25 dollars for the "false" claim. Bookies immediately refunded bets on Botha. The public and the bookies are the judges on this one, not back door contracts.
    Charlatans, quacks, thieves, hacks, jokers.

Mundine and SBW could do a better job on their own, they are meatheads - not cheats.
