Which of these two HWs would you sooner see as Wladimir Klitschko's next opponent?

I have no desire to see Jennings in with Wladimir until be beats a contender. Sure, Jennings might put up a better fight then Pianeta. But Pianeta has more size and KO power and has proven just as much as Jennnings.

 

Is a bout with Chisora out of the question? That would be fun for the fans and would probably sell pretty well.

What about Helenius or Boystov? Franklin Lawrence? He's kind of the mystery man of the heavyweight division as there is hardly any video out there.

 

Wlad probably needs to find an opponent soon or that April date might get pushed back or eliminated altogether.

I think Jennings is a better fighter than Pianetta and would put up a better fight, even at this stage but its still too soon for Jennings.

I guess I'd rather see Pianeta get the shot over Jennings if we're talking about fighting Wlad right now. I think Jennings will get better and in a year or two could be a threat to Wlad. I'd hate to see him get a chance now when he's not ready and blow a possible shot down the road.

Pianeta isn't good enough to sparr Wlad but he's good enough to sell to the public as a challenger for all the world titles. Ive heard it all now.
There is obviously no fight going to be taking place on April 6th so there is excuse anymore why he shouldn't fight Povektin next

 

I'd like to see them both fight him at the same time.

 

Pianeta was NOT good at copying Thompsons style which is what sparring partners are used for. Thats what I was talking about.... when guys dont fit the style of who we are fighting or can't copy the style, we send them home... just like all fighters do

Pianeta in his own style im sure would be better. He bends over , Thompson fights straight up... It didnt work for us or him in sparring

 

He didn't have to sit on his ass. His number no.1 mandatory is there for him.
There will be no fight April 6th unless the opponent and venue has already been selected and you lot are keeping it quit for some reason.
If not the date is most likely to get pushed back and the period of inactivitiy is nobody's fault but his own for wanting to fight another stiff.

Also , back in Dec, before Wlad was granted permission for another defence , the WBA gave a deadline of a few weeks for the fight to go to purse bids, not 3-4 months.

 

wlad didnt get the WBA "OK" until 1-2 weeks ago...... they are going as fast as they can to make a fight

The WBA changed the "must fight date" 2-3 times, then contracts dates changed... then Purse bid changed..... come on man... this is the WBA... need I say more?

 

The deadline dates have changed numerous times, thats when wlad put in the request

Jennings is the better fighter and more of a challenge, although Pianeta has "done more". (as in paid more dues, by virtue of Jennings only stepping up beginning with Byarm)
