Can the HW Version of RJJ go through K2'S combined resume with 5 or less losses?
Vitali and Wladimir have a combined 5 losses. I am curious what posters on here think in regards to HW Roy.
We obviously only have a small sample size(Ruiz Fight), but do you guys think HW RJJ can go through k2's COMBINED Resume with only 5 losses?
    I actually think he might.
I think he gets knocked out by Haye. 1 L
I think he will still get knocked out by even old and out of shape Lewis. 2 L
Loses one of the two fights against Sanders: 3 L
    Loses to ????????
That's it. The thing that really work to Roy's advantage is K2'S resume is not filled with big punchers. It's not fill with KO Artists.

    Interesting deabte.

Styles make fights. To beat Roy at heavy, you'd have to walk him down. Obviously if anyone catches him clean he's a gonner, but would they have had the opportunity? Look at Wlad vs Haye. Haye frustrated him with his movement and he couldn't land on him flush.

I think Sanders would have been a very hard fight for Roy.

I honestly believe that Roy had a good chance of beating the old faded version of Lewis that stuggled with Vitali. I don't think he could have beaten a prime Lennox, but he definitely had a chance with the 2003 version.

I think Roy could also outbox Haye to a points win. Haye has copied his style by watching Roy, but he hasn't got the incredible reflexes and footwork that Roy had. Roy beats him in every department apart from obvious power.

Roy was so fast, and I think it would off set a lot of heavyweights. Speed causes a variety of problems. Haye's got a shaky chin himself, and Roy bulked up to 200 can punch. Also, Haye has got a terrible defence.

What would Haye's game plan have been?

I don't think he'd go to him to try and knock him out, because I think he'd be concerned about taking a shot. Roy was a lot quicker than Haye. Like I say if Haye catches him, then Roy's asleep. But if Roy gets his attention early, then I think he could have frustrated him to a points win.

Someone like Vitali would have walked to Roy and he would have been prepared to have taken his shots, because he could take a shot. Haye in my opinion, wouldn't have been able to adopt those tactics.

I think this thread will turn into a farce, because people will just imagine the Tarver, Johnson and Lebedev knockouts, and say that Roy loses vs a jab or 1 round KO etc.

Great post.. I disagree that Roy will beat the old faded Lewis, I think that Lewis might have had a 2nd wind.. which we didn't see because of premature doctor stopping due to Vitali's eye... I DON'T know if Roy could have lasted 12 even against a 257LB Version of the Lion.

I am trying to figure out though if it's just how weak Kytscho's resume is or just how GOOD Roy is.. Because I honestly think he can go through their combined resume with at most 5 losses......

Roy's greatest assets, his speed and reflexes, are likely diminished at heavyweight. Add that with the fact that he wasn't a huge hitter, and that spells trouble.

K2s combined resume is pretty much ****, but asking a middleweight to go through it is a bit much. Without the pop to keep guys off him, he gets walked down and taken out a lot.

Sam Peter would have sent Roy to the Morgue.

    Seems like a troll thread

I dont know if Roy would have lost all of these fights but he would have had a chance to lose most or all of them. Too dificult to make up the weight, hight and power difference considering Roy's ability to take a punch.

Honestly, Herbie Hide would have KTFOed Jones. Anyone see that version that Vitali beat? He was like Mike Tyson light, only with a shaky ass chin. Which Roy would not have been able to crack.

Herbie Hide would have been utterly dominated by RJJ.

    Byrd beats him
    Corrie Sanders steamrolls him
Sam Peter Will catch him sooner or later.
McCline that fought Wlad and Byrd stops him late.
Ibragimov stops him late in a close fight.
Chagaev, Haye, Chambers all beat him.
    Solis and Chisora stop him.

and he would loose a couple more by lucky punches from maybe Arreola or Hide

I can see him schooling Adamek though.

Well Ruiz would be of been one of the best names on Vitalis resume if he had beat him and he would be a Top 5 win for Wlad.

Think he would have to retire after the Lewis fight if he made it that far.
