Haye works with Ukrainian newspaper to help get a fight with Vitali

The Haye-Fury build-up & press conferences would be quality, a mix of comedy & controversy but it seems very unlikely.

Fury just isnt that big a name in the UK but a lot can change in a year.

my eye, in the UK, is on Richard Towers.... I think if stays on track, the sky is the limit for him down the road

 

If he wins a world title (or does well in a losing effort) or beats Price he'll be a big deal.

His career is progressing nicely & he has a media friendly personality, time will tell.

 

Joshua is the best UK prospect by a mile imo.

He is actually an athlete. Slightly faster than me at 100m and I have an ego about how fast I am.

Fury is hilarious, just take his remarks with a big pinch of salt. Half of what he says is just nonsense & should be treated as such.

Honestly, he cracks me up everytime he open his mouth.

The Gregory fight was very worrying for Richard's punch resistance. He's a nice guy from a great gym & I wish him all the best but I dont think he'll ever be a world beater.

Dillian Whyte is a more exciting prospect imo.

 

For me, as a Wlad K. fan, I'd like Vitali to retire.

His last opponents have been poor and he is preventing future big fights to build and go Wlad's way.

The Haye matchup should have happened last year, they had the entire year to make that fight but couldn't agree to it. The way I see it nothing has changed, so why would they get it donne now, it's just pointless to go there again.

If Vitali wants to continue it's better to go for Fury, at Veltins arena, an equally big farewell fight.

 

Vitali Klitschko is a ducker if he continues his career and doesn't fight Haye.

From a legacy standpoint, Haye is not that good an option. He doesn't have an impressive heavyweight record. His best win at heavyweight is Valuev, who Chagaev had beaten first. Ruiz was old, and with all due respect to Barrett and Harrison they were never among the best of the division.

Fury is 24. He has possibly 15 years left in the sport. That is plenty of time to build up an impressive record. It would actually be amazing if Fury didn't win 2 or 3 heavyweight titles during that time.

If I were Vitali, and Fury wasn't desired or willing to fight, I'd choose another heavyweight around the same age, 100% dedicated to the sport, and with major talent. In other words, someone who will probably leave an impressive heavyweight record, which would boost Vitali's legacy should he win.
