szeljko mavrovic announces comeback but most likely he will fight at cruiserweightw.his last fight was in 98 against lennox lewis.shortly after he got seriously sick and finished his career.now he is 44 years old.he recently sparred guys like mirko cro cop(mma and k1 fighter.) and filip hrgovic one of the leading wsb heavyweight fighters.
no there is no vid but cro cop said that mavrovic did very well.but they sparred only a few rouds because cro cop accidentally him with the elbow that caused a cut.
Mavrovic has a legendary chin, there is something about Croatians (most) Mavrovic, George Chuvalo have LEGENDARY CHEEENS. Cro cop on the other hand has a glass chin...
money troubles for sure.. but he is in great shape, training hard and sparring with most quality opponents. it will be interesting comeback.
I'm not sure what's the reason for his comeback. he says that he has some unfinished business and that it's not the money. i don't know what to think about all that...on one hand he didn't take too much punishment except for the lewis fight but on the other hand he didn't have a fight since 98.he should just give it a shot without any pressure or big expectations...
:nono Cro Cop doesnt have glass chin, not the best but not glass for sure even i his old days JDS did not KO him if he had glass chin Dos Santos would KTFO him, or for you he has glass chin because of high kick KOs
Gettting knocked out by 3 tamato cans (Frank mir, Roy Nelson' and that bum Brendan Schaub) makes u = glass
i thought he had muscle degeneration disease. like lucky to be able to breath ****. and i wouldn't think he was in it for the money he was selling organic food to cali and had a portion of the bread business in his area. thought he was pretty well set up. coming back because he feels like he didnt finish what he started is the biggest drive to me. if he is feeling better. he was a good fighter. i hope he doesnt **** his healt up for something that he did in his youth,
atsch No it means he has no reflexes left and was hit by a huge shots from guys he would beat easy in his prime...
Yea I remember this guy he was awkward as ****, but one tough sob. I really doubt he'd be able to maintain the same toughness, ruggedness of his prime days, but the division is so **** now he might even be able to make afew waves. Looking forward to seeing this guy fight. He always seemed out of place to me never looked like a heavyweight. I think he never got ko'd either.
