I just think I go hard on people, and if there aren't any facts to back up these opinions I would like for you to present an example. I believe my opinions are justified, and I'm not the only one who feels this way about Fedor's standing. It takes two to tango, but I'll be the first to stop whatever bull**** is going on. Stop myself, and others as I'm the cause of all of it.

This is our home, and I'm going to be taking better care of it, even if we are on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm going to be careful in trying not to insult a Great fighter in Fedor, but I think being blunt about his career is going to insult some people either way. So long as you all know me better I think we'll be alright in the end.

Oh, btw... Rousey is p4p. Cyborg wouldn't be with a win, and neither would Liz. I know that ranking her is crazy to some, but I believe I see something that a lot don't. I know something, and if she continues to dominate like I believe she will then it won't be so funny anymore. Maybe it's too soon, but not in my crazy book :good

I think being comical about the end of his career offends and wears on some. Never did I care about the others on here until it became an almost weekly thing. We share this place, and there isn't a time to try and be funny about a guy's career ending the way it did. It was quite sad actually, and I believe Fedor and others are owed more respect. I don't think my opinions will change much, but my actions will surely change.

I use to drag boran into some pissing contests until he shot me a pm. I forgot about those pms, but I'm gonna go back to that time and make sure some of my future posts don't smear this Great section. I've been here too long to have a bad rep. To "troll", even if I never intended to. It's just time for me to make some changes. Next time I won't have to say anything as I've repeated myself over the past 8 months or so.

To me Fedor is a definite top 3. But his place there is as secure as paper padlock. Guys are catching up to him quickly. I like the guy; he is one of the most likable athletes to ever compete. But had he signed with the UFC he could have done a lot more to secure his legacy. As of NOW you can make an argument for him being GOAT. If guys like Silva and Jones retired today there wouldn't be much debate as to who deserves the crown. But that's not happening. Elite fighters are racking up amazing victories while Fedor is retired and no longer competing. It's only a matter of time before he drops out of the top 5 spot and I imagine it won't be too long.

gyll, dropping him out of the top 5 would be ignoring his body of work. Not saying that's impossible, but that would have to happen at least ten years from now. JJ, Hendo, GSP, Jose Aldo and someone I forgot to mention would have to do some epic **** in order to knock Fedor off. I just don't see that happening.

I believe fighting on and ultimately losing outside of The UFC hurt his legacy more than anything, but that's not really fair as he didn't have it anymore. I believe it's a combination of things, but primarily in that The Game Don't Wait. I don't think that he evolved his game, either because of a lack of desire, stubbornnes, a little bit of both or just something else. When it comes to these discussions, I think that Anderson Silva just has it all. Longevity, more tools on his feet, and an easier time while fighting the best. He just makes it look easy, and has done so 16 or 17 times on the World stage. He's made it look absolutely easy. While he is missing big names from his resume, know that it's something he can't control. Maybe Sonnen is one of the best of his generation, but that may be Silva's only rival. Maybe a fighter like CC is being a little overrated here (I believe so). Maybe we just don't know yet about Anderson Silva, but one of us will be right in the end. Someone on here will be saying years from now "Been saying so for years", but we really don't know what the future holds....

If I had to make a prediction, JJ may be #1 in the end after beating Anderson Silva , winning HW gold, and whooping a handful of HWs. I believe that JJ would beat Anderson Silva, shift our focus and open a lot of people's eyes in the process. He has all the tools to move on throughout his career remaining virtually undefeated.

Boddi...I'l answer you previous question when I'll be back home, I'm at work right now, I just wanted to comment on the RR since it's going to be shorter.

What you are doing now is

    1) fanboyism, especially with a sentence like...
'Cause you arn't putting her there for what she has done, but for what you see in her. She has what...5 or 6 win ? Not against top opposition ? And you put her before any other fighter...I mean cmon...I'm a huge supporter of woman MMA, but this is bat **** crazy

    2) Double standard = 'cause if Fighter A is P4P #5 and get beaten by fighter B and fighter B doesn't get into the P4P ranking that is BS. At least be honest about that...

If thats your opinion fair enough, but don't get offended if people are calling you out on that kind of stuff.

Top opposition? Ronda Rousey is the #1 Women in the World, and Cyborg hasn't fought in over a year. I'm certain that she will prove to anyone else that she belongs on the list in the end, and of course she is there for what she has done.

Double standard bubble lanyard.... I'm not going to play the hypothetical game, but if she does lose I'll tell you where she stands. Not offended in the slightest.

GSP has the better resume but I consider Silva the better H2H force.

How the fck did this thread get this long and turned into a pissing contest?

Silva is the greatest MMA fighter ever unless you are damn blind or a fanboy. I couldnt stand the ****n guy but Im not going to get ******ed and say Hes not the best.

Guy destroyed arguably the top two toughest competitors in a division ahead of him with his hands down. He destroyed them while He was clowning them. C'mon move on to the next thread.

Top Opposition ? You are kiddin me right ? Cyborg resume is equal if not better then Rousey

What is that even suppose to mean ? What hypothetical game ? What is suppose to be hypothetical ? IF she beats her ? Not the point at all man. The point is that you put RR in #5, but if someone beats her she won't even crack top 10. That is called a double standard !

Wanna know the HUGE difference between Cyborg and Rousey, Cyborg doesn't have the Zuffa machine to push her

    EDIT:
For the crazy stuff you don't to go further then this thread.
    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showpost.php?p=14743439&postcount=25

Fedor ducked someone ? Do you know the guy ? You think he was afraid of Mir ? Kongo ? And 2 other green guy at the time ? Cmon man that is batshitcrazy stuff.

AS dominating 2 era ? WTF are you talking about, to my knowledge he go cut from PRIDE FFS...

Show us where, Ne5, and show me where I said Anderson Silva dominated two different across two different eras? Because I believe I said that he fought the best across two different eras.

The difference between CC and Rousey is that Cyborg is a masculine, muscled up, steroid cheat, and has possibly fought that way for years. That is why she wouldn't crack my top 10. She just has a ways to go, but Ronda Rousey is #1 Women in the World and she is top opposition.

Sorry, my mistake you are right, you didn't say dominated, you said fighting the best, wich is still not the case, since to my knowledge he still go cut from PRIDE...so the point stand.

Yes she is #1 in the world for the women...until Cyborg come back, but she hasn't beat better opposition then the guy at #6, or #7....wich is the point and why I'm saying it's crazy to put her at #5. At least admit it's because you are a fanboy, nothing bad about it, but don't try to build an argument around that, cause there is none !

EDIT: And just ****in BTW, how many ****in time did you say that the only thing that was asked from fighter is winning, who cares if they are drug cheat....isn't AS greatest rival a ****in drug cheat ?

You asked for examples. Here's a couple
How is this based on any facts? I'll say it again, that's pure imagination. Even Dana White, the biggest Fedor hater, wouldn't go as far as that.

Sherdog I believe ranked these guys as follows:
    Sylvia #4 HW
    Arlovski #2 HW
    Barnett #2 HW

He was also not opposed at all, or avoiding as you said to fight Couture, who was also ranked top 5 at the time I believe. You know who was avoiding it? Dana White. So who was intimidated by whom?

People, I'm sure as well as you, said AA and Sylvia were going to beat the **** out of Fedor. Didn't happen. How is this avoiding top competition? Where are your facts to back up that opinion?

And yes, he was already slowing down regardless of the results of the fights, mentally if not physically.

I've had this argument many times and the **** you and some of the other people say are recurrent. It comes to me as no surprise.
