tough, tough fight for Cotto, but IMO he pulls through with a late TKO or razon this decision.

prime quartey was no walk in the park, in fact i'd give quartey a decent chance against floyd at welterweight.

I'd give it to Cotto to win by decision but a close one. GREAT FIGHT BTW ****, I never thought about this one.

Right now Cotto is somewhat like a prime Vargas who beat Quartey but then agian Quartey is the bigger man in this fight its pretty close prime for prime, Id lean towards Cotto by razor thin decision and even now its tough. Ike Quartey is a dam fighter its a shame in 50-60 years people will see he was 0-4 vs big names when its atleast 1-3 or 2-2.

I think Ike was a more rounded fighter, but I'd have to lean towards Cotto in this matchup..........Great matchup BTW...

Ike doesn't put his hands together enough and relied TOO MUCH on his great jab and against Cotto that would be his undoing. While DLH was content at times to "pose" with Quartey, Cotto would be piling up points by constantly attacking Ike during the "lulls" in action.

Watching Ike give away the DLH fight in the 12th round was very frustrating, even though that was Oscar's finest moment in the sport, IMO.

I think a prime Quartey would KO Cotto late in a war.
