Adamek running scared of pulev lol. Coward!!

Anyone here rather make million less dollars for doing their job?

I can't criticize Adamek on this one, as long as he opts for Szpilka, Povetkin, Arreola, Banks, or some other meaninfull contender.

Truth is he was overmatched against Pulev, odds were too far against him and going back to the drawing board at this point in his career makes no sense, unless you are getting paid a big purse, like in the Vitali fight.

 

Smart decision, it was a 80/20 fight imo.

I am really dissapointed by Adamek. Though it is completely logical decision - when one has troubles with Cunningham and Chambers, fighting Pulev could be too much risk, especially if the payday vs Wlad can be achieved without it.

 

gets schooled by 2 cruisers in one year and knocked on his ass by a barely top 75 guy....Averagemek is nothing at HW, of course he was gonna duck a sure KO loss to Pulev

adamek just makin buisness decisions . he knows the fight with pulev wont be fun for him.

 

LOL Adamek drops out of a final eliminator for the HW championship of the world. Using 'financial reasons' is quite ironic.

If he won against Pulev he could likely cash in $3-4 million for a fight vs. Wlad.

 

That is a big "if".

And there is a good chance he gets his payday vs. Wlad anyway, just by fighting another 1-2 safe opponents. With a likely loss from Pulev, it would be much harder to achieve (and I do not think he would really get much more $$$$ for Pulev than for 2 easy fights he can take instead during this time). Not to mention other possibilities that may appear - if for example Vitali retires for good, getting a shot at his belt would be also much easier if he keeps on the winning streak for a while.


As I said, while I am not impressed by his decision, it was completely logical from financial point of view.
