In Moscow over 8 rounds, slight step down from Wlad. :rasta
Apparently this is a tuneup for Oquendo v Povetkin.

Volo went running for the hills yet again, just like he did when Oquendo was still undefeated. :-(

Looks like Danny is getting knocked out again. The people licensing him to fight should be ashamed.

Better than not fighting at all, I guess...

High five for 3 week training camps!

"tune up for Oquendo v Povetkin," eh? Povetkin certainly seems to need or should want another fight with Kostya as his trainer before he steps in with Wladimir.

Jesus Christ, Danny Williams is still fighting? I remember when he fought Chisora and thinking 'that's the shottest fighter I've ever seen'. Well that was about 3 years ago!

Yeah surprised me also, he dropped a unanimous decision to a journeyman with a 12-19 record back in December (8 of those 19 were stoppages).

Both Tom Dallas and Sprott previously ko'd the guy in a round :-(

Williams might well be the shottest fighter of all time.

Oquendo has changed dance partners more times than a stripper over the last few months.

First he was in talks with Abdusallamov, telling Samson Lefkowicz he would take Magomed on for peanuts. Fizzled.

    Then Ding-A-Ling. Nope.

    Then maybe a Wladimir challenge.

    Make that a Povetkin challenge.

    Wait, no, tune-up, Williams first.

    ...all in 2013!

    Five opponents in six weeks!

So, all the talks about a fight with Wlad by Oquendo were just bull****?

I think it was just one of many names thrown in the hat for Wlad.

How is Williams still allowed to fight?

Does he have to be killed in the ring before the sanctioning bodies say no more?

I thought losing to Kreskott would be the death knell for his career, but no... :conf
