Im torn, he has given some "prospects" a tough time despite the losses over the past couple years, but his skills have diminished greatly. I personally don't see why he can't get a British license when other literal punching bags can.
i was gonna write this, its bad more than one person thinks this i can literally see him dyin in the ring then they start makin new health checks etc and it will just look bad for the sport and give it too much negative attention
Yeah but his decisions have an impact on the sport of boxing, if he gets ****ed up in the ring or ends up with pugilist dementia that will be smeared across the news. I don't know, if he passes all the medical tests, and those tests are stringent and credible, then let him fight. But this is more than just being about one man and his decisions.
One of these days a totally shot fighter such as Danny is going to get either killed or seriously hurt in the ring and sue the Board for letting him fight on when he wasn't fit.
He's probably going to struggle to sue them if he's dead. But I do agree that he shouldn't be fighting anymore.
true, that's a good point. don't get me wrong i agree with it but unfortunetly he doesn't end of the day he's a fully grown man and he knows the risks himself perfectly though. he will end up becoming more punch drunk but he is no more at risk than your average journeyman who get their head punched in every weekend. I just think every one gets a lot more upset to see a fighter who was once really good reduced to this. I do agree though that if he gets knocked out badly agian that sanctioning bodies should stop allowing him to face euro class prospects and contenders but there will always be one body that will allow it.
Yeah he now fights on a Latvian license. The British board stopped licensing him after the Chisora fight.
i think its just a case of missing the buzz he got from the sport ,,the mind telling him he can do it ,,,the body saying **** that i want a lying his friends must believe in him
