How do people think floyd mayweathers career Would have panned out if he was born in London. For arguments sake lets say he still won Olympic bronze for gb. What promotor would he have signed for? How different would his record and reputation be?

This is an interesting topic. Form is temporary, class is permanent. If we're talking about the same Mayweather, but just different nationality, Floyd Mayweather is that good, and that talented, regardless of where he came from, the cream would still rise to the top.

    This isnt James DeGale
    or
    Audley Harrison

Same talent yes but perhaps a different mentality from a different upbringing and possibly a slightly different skill set as he may have gone through the domestic, european, wbu route personally I agree I think he would be the pound for pound king as his talent is so big but looking at it from the other side I bet duke Mckenzie would have a few more zeros in his bank account if he had been born in the us.

What about if Floyd was from the Dewsbury Moor estate?. Would he make it out of there that's the question. Notorious!..

The way he was brought up in his family boxing from a young age with his dad and uncle both pretty well known fighters in their day and being around the gyms while he was young probably wouldn't have translated as well in London as it did in Michigan.

There aren't good enough trainers to have taught him to box skilfully

I cant see it, i think him being brought up in poverty and in America is a big reason why hes as great as he is.
