Why demand Adrien Broner move up when he can comfortably make 135lbs?

People already pick against him and then discredit him when he wins,people are already crying he needs to move up when he just moved up..hell when he gets to 140 and kicks ass there all you are going to do is cry he needs to go to 147.This kid is very talented and is proving it night in and night out.He is exciting and lets his hands go..but now i hear people saying he gets hit to easily...but if he was more defensive ya'll would call him boring..make your minds up people,what do you want??? Just cause he is cocky doesnt mean you have to make up **** just to hate on the damn kid,he backs it up in the ring

haters would love to see him where he's not comfortable and put him in ridiculous fantasy matches in hopes to see him lose. they can't stand that he's cleaning out a division one by one. just like the same people that want to see Floyd go up and fight 160 lbers. it's pure hate.

why aren't people begging Matthysse to go up to 147 and fight Thurman, or floyd?

 

Damn right. It will never end. When he was at 130 he needed to move up. Now he just got to 135 and he already needs to move up.

Aside from the winner of Vasquez/Burns, there isn't really anyone to fight of note.

 

I would like to see him go to 140 soon as there are bigger names and better fighters there than in his own division, and they would be some very exciting fights - Khan, Matthyyse, Marquez, Rios, Garcia among others.

However, I think for his own good he should stick around at 135 for a while, get a couple more fights against different styles and work on suring up his weaknesses. I do think he's a bit too easy to hit considering the style he uses, which is something that would be more of an issue against harder hitting, bigger guys.

As long as he keeps fighting regularly he should have another 2-3 fights at 135 before moving up.

You have to understand Larry that it's the attitude of a minority of fans who are fanning the flames of hate here.
I like Broner a lot but when you have some of his fans calling someone like Ricky Burns a coward then that,along with other outrageous and/or offensive comments will generate hostility.
He's a brilliant fighter but it's a pet hate of mine to see boxers being called cowards whether I like them or not.
I was disgusted with Whitaker last night and lost real and vcash because of his antics,but I still won't call him a coward.
Ricky Burns is one of the most genuine and likeable figures in the game,yet you get Broner fans stirring up huge hatred for the guy.
Were it not for that I'd be an even bigger fan of Broner than I am now,but what's happening is that you're getting the same sort of stuff that came from a minority of Bute,Klitschko and Pacquaio fans and as long as it continues,there will be resentment on this forum.

He's acting like a cocky, brash moron in order to make a name for himself - and it's working. You seem surprised that people are reacting like this to him when he is intentionally setting out to provoke that reaction. Bit of a weird thread.
