Why demand Adrien Broner move up when he can comfortably make 135lbs?

tbh, he's attracting the attention that he wants. I just dislike people not keeping it real with everybody when it comes to double standards. Like how he's out here picking on all there midgets like DeMarco

 

Very few people actually criticise Broners skill level. He is a future star.

He definitely polarizes opinion, I'm a fan, not keen on his fake persona thing but I like his offense and look foward to seeing him progress.

Hopefully he's not a ducker like Floyd and takes on all-comers.

He's only young too. He has enough quality opposition at 135 to get a couple more fights in and clean out the division without having to resort to a bum of the month club.

I can understand people wanting him to move up now though - boxing fans love the big fights, they see a guy like Broner looking like a potential top name in the sport, they look at the names in his division compared the one above and they want to see those fights.

 

I love it. Makes it that much better when he wins. Also I like to see people nitpicking things about his performance in a dominating win. That's when you know you're good.

 

I'd certainly hope so. I can only speak for myself, and of course I watch fighters for what they show inside the ring, but it's hardly surprising that posters on this forum are showing a dislike for Broner's character. What's all that bull**** about brushing his hair? What's with his dad then taking the request seriously and coming over to actually, yes, brush his hair in the center of the ring? He's disrespectful about his peers in interviews, and he showboats like a yo-yo against overmatched opposition. I find his abilities as a fighter to be appealing, and I look forward to watching him develop, but as for Adrien Broner as a personality? He makes me want to smash my Television set to pieces.

I personally thought it was quite obvious from the outset that DeMarco was made to order for Adrien Broner. Surely there wasn't any posters on the General who were seriously expecting DeMarco to win the fight? That's hard to believe.
