Sho you right,and check this out, in his last three fights he was so dominate in his performance that the opposing corner threw in the towel ( not the ref ). I ain't never seen no **** like that in three consecutive fights.:bbb

You interpret everything through this sad 'haterz' perspective where people only criticise you if they hate you. Someone starts a thread about how often he gets hit and your reaction is 'so what he won in 5 rounds . . .'

How about people simply being boxing fans, he's one of the most exciting fighters in the sport at the moment and is being marketed as the future face of boxing, and people are simply assessing his strengths and weaknesses, as well as his performances. After all, this is boxing forum is it not?

The truth is Broner has chosen to market himself as aloof, brash and cocky. He has done this to draw attention, make a name for himself and get people talking about him. That's working, and people are talking about how much of a dick he acts, exactly as he wants. No one can complain about that when it's clear it's what he wants.

 

The hype and butthurt reaction is much worse.

Bingo. This is the entire point of discussion, talking about strengths and weaknesses. And any backlash Broner gets for marketing himself as the cockiest guy in the sport is simply part of the equation.

 

I find the reaction of his fanboys more amusing.

Fighter markets himself as a bit of an idiot.

Boxing fans express views that he's a bit of an idiot.

Fanboys start crying about people thinking he's an idiot.

 

160 is bull****. Mathhysse looked like he always does and people are saying he weighs the same as Alvarez, Martinez and Golovkin (165-167).
Broner weighs 150 and so do most guys at 140.
