this fight was meaningless...... he did what he supposed to do though and he would kill your favorite fighter from 130-140 which is why you're so butthurt.

 

Rees is a good fighter. Not world class, but a top Euro competitor. Broner did well against him. Saying that, a victory over Rees doesn't prove he's the next Mayweather like all the brown-nosers sucking his **** claim.

He'll be a good boxer in that division but really, he's the American Amir Khan. Overrated and overrated by the media, boxing pundits, promoters etc way beyond his abilities.

Yup, this is the age we live in; critical thinking need not apply. Seriously, we have guys in this board right now saying Broner would beat Duran...I guess this is based off of his monumental wins over DeMarco and Escobedo. One guy even said Broner's 'movement' would cause problems for Duran. That's right...his 'movement'. I guess standing flat footed and walking around the ring heel to toe is considered awesome footwork these days.

The guy(Rees) is a top ten fighter. The fight they wanted is not possible and the two other "titlists" are busy. Not much else he can do.
