Prime Mayweather (Corrales) vs. Prime Broner (Reese) @ 135?

Only person beating that Floyd is Duran if you ask me....he was damn sharp that night.

And Duran/Floyd would be a hell of a fight....the way Floyd was sticking and moving in that fight...was a thing of beauty.

Floyd and Duran is a 50/50 fight at 135

Each could have 5 wins if 10 bouts were to happen.

 

Mayweather would demonstrate the difference between a young ATG and a young prospect.

He would out-talk him, he would beat him up at every range, he would clock him over and over until he stops him.

It would never look competitive.

 

Floyd had way better defense which will be the difference in that fight. Such a big different that I would expected him to KO Broner

 

Both Chavez and Whitaker would beat Floyd at 135.

The thought of Pac beating Duran at ANY weight is comical.

Accept that Duran was a much different fighter north of 135. He was a BEAST at 135 but he wasn't really a BEAST @ 147 > 168.

You think Manny beating up a faded Cotto at 147 is as impressive as Duran battering Palimino, and beating arguably the best welterweight of all time in Leonard?

The Duran of the first Leonard fight would destroy Pac.

I'm too tired to break down the styles, but Duran was a far better, more skilled, more complete, more intelligent fighter than Pac.

And stop going by what so called "experts" think.

How many fights of a prime Duran have YOU actually seen?

He was a better fighter than Manny, period.

There's not ONE Pac victim that Duran wouldn't have beaten also.

Whereas on the flip side, Pac would never in a million years have beaten Leonard.

 

This notion that Duran was somehow less impressive at his 147-pound best form needs to stop. Especially when people start saying things like "Pacquiao loses to Duran at 135, but beats him at 147." Just come off of it already. Duran's inconsistency - thanks to being a lazy fat ******* - hurt him in a number of fights, but he arguably delivered his two career-best performances against Palomino and Leonard. You could say his power wasn't the same as it was at 135 (although he still hit very hard at welterweight), but all in all, upon moving up to the division initially, he looked nothing short of incredible.

154 is where you really started to see the legs and overall speed going, even when he was focused and amped up. He beat the **** out of Davey Moore, but physically, wasn't the same guy he was when he was younger.
