If floyd was worried about someone talking too much in interviews I don't think his dad would be the best choice...
Probably just concerned that he isn't sharp enough and at this stage in Floyd career he needs to ensure he is in peak condition. Besides it's Floyd who has to fight so it's his choice and I would think he would know better than ESB posters who have never met either of them? But hey what do I know ! :think
Floyd has never been trained by Jeff so he would have no chemistry....he has worked with his dad as recently as Marquez and beginning of Shane camp even though Roger was the main trainer.
Could be Floyd has given Roger years worth of monster paydays, and at the end he feels like letting his father get one. Could be.....
Roger is just getting older,in the Cotto 24/7 he fell asleep in the car when Floyd was driving....They are fine but Floyd realizes he needs a trainer that is 100% and Roger is not at 100% right now..
Crazy! I would have bet Sr. to have given way/step aside from training way before Uncle ROG... Then again Ain't Roger still training fighters? Is there something going down?
