It is rumored Bute will fight Bika for the WBC 168lbs title, then he might wanna fight Froch or Pascal, or even Ward (him being WBC emeritus). Could be that after he got left without an worthy opponent numerous times before, he now want's to make sure that if one refuse, he still got 2 equally good options on the table.

Bika is equally good as Froch or Ward? :nut He already beat Bika 7 years ago, and Bika has zero wins over top level SMW's.

How does Bika get another shot at Bute or Ward? He is (was?) a tough test for any up and coming fighter but once you have beaten him there is no reason to go back.

Bute is just looking for the quickest way to get a trinket back that does not involve being in the same time zone as Carl Froch. I think Bute should have re-matched Froch right away or gone for another tough test, that is the only way to get back into the mix - just like Froch/Kessler proved when they lost their titles. Now Bute is in danger of becoming irrelvant and I do think he is better than that.

I was under the impression that Bika is Wards mandatory. Bika has improved and earned his shot to be fair, but, Ward ward is prime and beats most.

Who do you call muppet, freezy boy? You should warm your head there in Sween, I guess your reasoning is freezen also.

Why do you change topic? What is the relevance of fighting for linear in accusing Bute ducked someone outside his category?Yes, Pascal was even lineal a bit, but still he didn`t stay at 168 to challenge Bute.He passed to 170 when he could challenge Bute for a belt.If you remember, Bute stayed champion more than 4 years and a half.

Not necessarily since the Ward fight, but from the start of his career he has always pursued challenging fights and taken himself internationally.

By no means do I think he will beat Ward I only refer to his worthiness of a shot against him.

I would compare him to Sam Soliman. Took the fights that were best for their progress and squeezed more out of their potential than most would because they were fighting proper opponents. So I would say Bika has improved and persisted far more than the casual boxing fan expected at the beginning of his career. He has some good names on his résumé.

There are a few "Circus tent" promoted fighters in Australia that pull $millions each fight. None want anything to do with Bika at SMW right now.
Bika's win the other day hasn't even made the newspaper here and he is about to fight a p4p contender.

I read that Ward said:im ready to come to Montreal to face:pascal,Bute or Stevenson declaration for tvasport.ca
Its awkward now when Bute wants to face Pascal that Pascal wants Dawson who he already beat and the money are a lot less more.Im sure it would not be a problem for WBC to make the Bute fight for some kind of a interim belt cause Bute is ranked 3rd by the WBC.
Also they were talking about Montreal Olympic Stadium as location and HBO as broadcaster that mean huge money for both.

Bika is Mandatory, but Ward doesn't holds the WBC title anymore, they made him emeritus Champion. This is where Bute steps in, if he choose to, nothing signed yet.

The rumors say now that Pascal might withdraw from the Dawson fight. The fight between him and Bute would take place in May.
