Bruno does hit pretty hard. He only won 2 fights on decision, the rest he knocked out

The 2 guys he couldnt/didnt stop were Mcall (Self explantory) and some other dude, Phil Jackson or something. Bruno could certainly punch.

I think Bruno would stop Moorer, however if MM is still around in the late rounds...things could get sticky for Frank

 

Naturally, I favour Bruno. Moorer's chin was very poor (it was only because Foreman was so faded that it took 10 rounds for him to spark Moorer) and he didn't exactly have an impregnable defence.

He is one of the hardest punchers ever and would catch Moorer at one point and should be able to finish him off. He's in the same class as Foreman in terms of power.

Any Forman reference really is not going to apply to the fight because Frank is not capable of setting and laying a trap to capitalize on late in a fight.

Bruno is the classic frontrunner and those guys always look good when everything goes their way. I sure don't see things going Frank's way in this. It's either the Duff book or the Francis book, but 1 of them refers to Bruno's problems with southpaws and why they didn't fight them.

The second issue is there is no way in the world this bout takes place in Frank's backyard. Zero chance. Instead, you make Frank Bruno try to be a road warrior. Whole different ballgame and Bruno sure didn't hold up too well wearing those shoes.

Once Frank slows down, he's in big trouble with this guy. He has to finish this opponent early and get that lefthook home. But early Moorer used his legs in there and just did not stand in front of opponents and is far more mobile than Bruno. He'd force Bruno to land punches while moving his feet and Bruno, like most guys, do far better against guys that stand in front of them.

I just don't see Bruno solving a southpaw like this and thinke he's off balance all fight long and is never comfortable. And a never comfortable version of Bruno is just not going to win. He might be competitve and valiant, but I don't see him as the guy with his arm raised at the end of the contest.
