By then Berto should have some W's on his record, not quality, but just quantity wins) His last fight more than likely will be in 2015, so alot could happen up until that date, maybe we get an up and comer who looks "good" but This content is protected and can generate good numbers, This content is protected . depends who he fights, Mayweather is not the fighter he was 2-3 years ago. He is ready to fall but that doesn't mean he will lose.
One thing is for sure tho... Bradley & Martinez are defo NOT going to be one of these fights. (Because of the drama not the fighters themself) ^Brad's contract w/Top Rank & Martinez being a MW. I pick these 2 because outside of Alvarez these would be the fights to make.
He will fight more than 6 time though not at the level he is at now of course. It's only a matter of time till Mayweather is carried out the ring- It's a family tradition !
Not the full six fights, at least not in 30 months for sure. Undefeated I'd guess, but he's 36 and would seem bound for a loss if he keeps fighting guys in the top 5 of divisions.
:deal Floyd will carefully select two or three opponents over the next 30 months. Floyd will likely eventually lose. But by then Father Time will have softened him up and he'll be fighting more for the IRS than his ego.
I can see him fighting 6 more times, every May and September until 2015 is certainly workable depending on how the fights sell of course. We've got the Guererro fight then I think it will be Canelo for his last fight at JMW, then the likes of Khan, Garcia, Alexander and Brook making up the rest.
Everyone loses if they keep fighting on too long. I have seen fighters lose in my lifetime that were thought of as unbeatable at points in their career. I wouldn't be that shocked if it happened to Mayweather. 6 fights is a lot, and he is not what he once was. Still great, but I can see him starting to leave his prime.
Jeff Mayweather said he should retire after the Canelo fight which is supposed to be next. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7NUc_GOfV4
Not that what I say matters, but I think Floyd should retire very soon. Despite his amazing boxing abilities, he's 36 and relexes and speed diminish. In fact, power is probably the last of skills to diminish whilst relexes and speed diminish earlier. However, he hasn't taken much punishment throughout his career so his body is still relatively fresh.
