[yt]b-DZMijPT48[/yt] You know what, I actually think a old Shane at this point can beat someone like Soto, who didnt hit hard at 135, doesnt hit hard at 140 and probably wont hit hard at 147. Maidana on the other hand....call me crazy i think it would be close. Shane has always done well with guys like Soto/Maidana. plod forward and dont really move and stand and bang.
Shane needs to stop fighting period. I hope Bella isn't wasting all his money or he hasn't developed a drug habit or something.
I rather he stays retired. It was hard to watch him get pummeled by Canelo for twelve straight rounds.
Yeah, no way he fights Maidana, or no we he should at least. Soto a much better deal for him. I'd watch it. Why not? Better than Soto and still no apparent "Jesus he will die in the ring if he fights Maidana" factor. I actually just watched a 15 minute video of Mosley and Golovkin sparring. It was cool to see. Yeah, but it is still just a slightly less "oh my god he's gonna die" like of him fighting Maidana. Ortiz is just really dumb, so there's that interest. Ideally, yes, he doesn't fight anybody.
Soto boxed and moved well vs Mattysse i think he would give Shane movement and a jab but i dont think he can handle a good shot by Mosley, i could see him get KO'd while ahead
Call me crazy but I pick Mosley over Maidana. Maidana fits into Mosley style. It would be a good scrap and if Maidana were to pull it off, it will raise his stock up even more. :bbb
Again, what's the point of this? I could definitely see the logic in fighting Malignaggi as Paulie has a legit belt and Shane could parlay that strap into bigger and better things down the road. What does he possibly stand to gain from acquiring the WBA Inter-Continental belt...given the extraordinary risk involved? I refuse to believe that he ran through all that money already so there's must be some other motivation besides money...right? Shane needs to stay retired and go travel with his girlfriend or something.
