Was anyone else embarrased by Broners ring entrance last week?

I never got douche chills like that before watching a boxing event. I'm not arguing his skills. Hes obviously a good fighter. I just need to know, did anyone on here watch that and enjoy it? Don't get me wrong, I like confidence in a fighter and I'm a young guy myself so I understand the hip hop culture, but this is how you do it:

Broners rapping was an embarrasment, not to boxers, not to rapper, not to black people, but to himself.

  2. Well ... I mean, I am not a Broner fan but I kind of appreciate him as weird as that sounds. He is controversial (which makes fights that much more interesting to watch no matter who he's fighting), he has a big mouth... he just breaks out of the normal box and keeps things entertaining and interesting.

And I'm on the fence with him because despite his defensive style, HE FIGHTS. Like he will turn the switch on and go at you viciously.

I think hes just trying to play up to all the hype and be the bad guy that everyone says.

I think he is a total ***** but you can see that hes really trying to be that person. Its a bit pathetic really.

Hes got loads of talent and i think he could go a long way but yes i was embarrassed. It was cringe worthy. There is a way to be a showman and be confident but he failed miserably.

Hes got no reason to think hes anything but what people are saying but eventually hell fight someone who will push him hard and it will be a wake up call. But i dont see that happening any time soon.

Id love Ricky Burns to batter him and listen to what he has to say in the post fight interview but i honestly dont see that happening. The kid has got some serious talent. Although i though he got hit way to easy by Rees i dont think he was that bothered about getting caught. Rees couldnt hurt him and he knew that.

Just imagine what his entrances will be like if he wins titles at 140 and 147 and stays unbeaten for the next 5 or 6 years. Hell be dreadful haha

His "rapping" was horrible to say the least. He should leave the microphone off and just dance behind his rapper buddies.

If he's got us talking about it...his job is done.

Maybe his rappin isn't for everyone, but it isn't bad to see someone with personality, fabricated or real. These guys aren't corporate IBM workers.

Yeah he's a dick. The " well done steak " joke crashed and burned as well. Thick as **** but very talented.

I told you guys to petition to not watch his fights. We wouldn't have to deal with this. You don't need someone with "personality" if their personality is annoying.

If Broner was smart enough to play this character properly it would be great TV but everyone I know that's seen him just thinks he's a ****.
