Vyacheslav Glazkov vs. Malik Scott Final Press Conference Live Stream

Scott flashes a grin to Kathy and says although she isn't his promoter, she's one of the best in the world.

Oh yeah, he smashed that.

His trainers aren't there with him today because they're up in D.C. to help Kendall Holt tomorrow night but will be arriving Saturday morning to be there for him.

He says it takes a guy like "Cesar Glazkov" (probably him trying to pronounce his ring name "Czar" and mistaking it for a real first name ) to light his fire and motivate him to elevate his own game. He calls "Cesar" a hungry young lion.

He shouts out to his boy Karl Dargan on the undercard.

He says he is lean and in the best shape. He says he often puts himself through rigorous training camps, but this time he put himself through "catastrophe" because he expects "Cesar" to throw catastrophe at him.

Scott says he isn't Tor Hamer. He will go out on his shield if it ever comes to it, and will never quit. He lambastes Hamer for letting down NBC and the fans.

Scott says that anyone can gain power. If you aren't naturally blessed with it you can hit the weight room and work on things to enhance your power. What he is gifted with can't be gained, his talent and slickness, you have to be born with it.

He says he's gone through a lot of strength and conditioning. He thanks new S&C coach Travis something, saying he put him through hell but he appreciates it.

He says he keeps hearing rumors about different boxers ducking "Cesar". He says he doesn't deify any potential opponent - they're all just human and just fighters, like him. He says he is cut from a different cloth from most heavyweights. He says don't let the KO rate fool you or give you the wrong idea about his heart and desire.

He says "Cesar" will have to knock him out to seize his zero.

He calls Hamer a three-round fighter, saying he thrived when he went to Europe and participated in a tourney of three-rounders but once he was forced to go a hard four against "Cesar", he quit.

He gives a shout out to real American heavyweights like his friend Bryant Jennings.

Scott says he doesn't really get "up" for Bowie Tupou. He says he beat Tupou with one hand, easily, barely trying. He says "Cesar" is the kind of guy he can get up for.

He promises "Cesar" won't have to come looking for him, he won't be moving too much, and when he gets hit flush he isn't going anywhere.

 

Kathy says Malik means "King" in Arabic (it's also Scott's ring name) and comments on how "Czar" is Glazkov's nickname...so there will be 2 Kings In The Ring but only one can reign.

They should've thought of that sooner and put it on the poster/in the commercials. :-(

 

They're going to have Glazkov's trainers and managers speak in his stead.

I've gotta boogie, anyone else watching can provide updates if Team Czar has anything important to say.

Glazkov's manager says a dozen heavyweights turned down the date this weekend. He thanks Scott for manning up.

He says Czar is training hard.

 

Kathy says Don Turner is another dear old friend of hers, acquainted since the Holyfield days. She says Evander taught everyone that it's about the size of a guy's heart, not his physical size. She thinks that lesson will be crucial to Saturday's match-up.

 

Don Turner says Scott is class, but is getting KTFO.

He says Malik won't have that undefeated swagger anymore come this weekend.

 

Oh, Glazkov was there after all. :think

He speaks through his manager as interpreter.

He says he doesn't like Scott's trash-talking.

He promises a real fight.

He says both he and Scott will be eager to keep a loss off their record.

He thanks everybody.
