    IF Money gets past Guerrero?

As for Trout-Alvarez, Canelo has the faster hands and harder punch. Trout lacks the aggressive offense to earn the UD over Floyd.

There is not a "Slick" fighter in or around Mayweather's weight class that can trouble him at all. Floyd would pick apart Trout worse than he would against a "Face first" type.

You need someone to take the **** out of Mayweather at this stage in his career.
The Alvarez style is not only a better matchup to watch but will also provide Floyd more opportunity to get caught with something big.

Styles make fights. Trout is stylistically horrible for most. He most certainly is for Floyd, and i'm a huge Floyd fan. But come on, a 36-year old small WW against a taller, slick boxing, speedy southpaw who is a solid, natural JMW? That spells disaster.

Canelo on the other hand is relatively stationary, hittable and fights in spurts. He's stronger and more explosive, but that shouldn't bother Mayweather's style as much as what Trout brings to the table.

BTW i'm picking Canelo to beat Trout.

Trout, he is big and well schooled I think he could cause Floyd alot of troubles.

I think Canelo can cause Floyd some problems early on but I think he will get the fight beaten out of him.

Canelo is younger, but Trout is more slick. I think Trout would be a harder fight for Floyd then Canelo. I truly believe that Trout could beat Canelo. Make Canelo vs Trout and Floyd could fight the winner.

Canelo by far, both are way below Mayweather's level of skill, but Canelo would be a imposing figure physically wise, he has faster hands and way more power than featherfisted Trout. If Canelo can make it a fight, he could succeed, whereas Trout couldn't win in a fight and he's not outboxing Mayweather either. Trout ain't nothing special tbh, people are just overrating his victory over a shot to **** Cotto. Canelo would have murdered that pitiful version of Cotto that Trout fought.

I think Trout/Floyd would turn into a very slow fight... Mayweather's pace. Regardless, Trout would have reach, weight, height, and possibly power on his side. Floyd has only his technical brilliance. Floyd/Trout would be a close fight and could go either way.

I do not see Floyd fighting Trout under any circumstances. And rightfully so imo. Floyd is a small-medium WW. He has no business at 154... especially versus a big JMW in Trout/Canelo.

Canelo fight is interesting for a lot of reasons but, again, it's difficult for me to imagine Floyd taking on either Trout/Canelo. Both are considerably larger than Floyd.

Canelo I can already tell is immature to certain point. Matthew Hatton was able to out ring general Canelo in certain areas of the bout. Canelo is still in-experienced also. He will be a threat early on but probably fade and get drowned. Trout is big but is slow with meager footwork. Trout vs Floyd would be boring.

    Trout

best way to beat a slick fighter, is putting him against Another slick fighter. especially a younger one. they're more familiar with the tricks and won't be fooled so easily.

B-hop knows this very well too. which is why he took so long to take on Dawson.

Alvarez has the better chance, in my opinion.
