DeGale is #4 WBC but would you enjoy a possible title fight against Ward?

Degale is okay, but in the super-middleweight division I'd put him firmly behind Ward, Froch, Kessler, Abraham and Groves. He's on the same level as Bika imo. If you bring light-heavyweights who can drop down to supermiddleweight into it, I'd put Degale firmly behind Pascal and Bute too.

He beat Groves for me, after a slow start in a very close fight

He'd beat AA and Kessler imo

Froch is a tough one, Ward beats him

Abraham has seriously declined. I dont think he can beat anyone good these days

Degale is poor. Not impressed with him at all. He tries to fight with a slick style but gets hit far too much and is a powderpuff puncher. He will get brutally KO´d at some point.

Froch really in a way became the S6 legend even though he didnt win.
Ward fights unwell Kessler at home, good win
Ward then fight A Green. Is that now a top major fight and win.
Ward then gets unfairly given 2 points when he didnt fight Dirrell.
Ward then fights Abraham who was on a 1-2 run and had lost his last 2 S6 fights. Thats not impressive.
Ward then fights old jaded plodder Froch and guess what? Ward was the home fighter in all of those fights.
If anything Froch deserves to be called the S6 legend.
He fights Dirrell at home
Kessler in Denmark
Abraham in Finland
Johnson in America
Ward in America.
Consider that Froch was away in his fight before Dirrell, and that was against another original S6 fighter.
So out of the 6 original S6 fighters Froch fought all of them and Johnson and was away for 5 out of those 6 fights and that takes its toll on any fighter, and with all those things against Froch and the fact that he is an old past best fighter and only lost by 2 points on 2 cards against Ward and slow old Froch was beating Ward in the last couple of rounds, then Froch fights Bute straight after who Ward didnt want to fight.
Thats just as impressive as Ward was, never once the away fighter and had an easier run.

Its been made to sound more than it was. In all of Wards S6 fights only Kessler and Froch were top tier for this present time.

Ward had to fight the Co-Favorite of the tournament (Kessler) in the 1st ****ing Stage....

Ward fought Abraham in the semi-finals, who was one of the fighters who came in the tournament undefeated. If Abraham decided to not lose against Froch or get disqual'd, he would have been an undefeated fighter who fought Ward.

Ward fought Froch in the finals, who was one of the fighters who came in the tournament undefeated. If Froch decided to not lose against Kessler, he would have been an undefeated fighter who fought Ward.

If you think Froch had it worse off cuz Ward ended up beating previously beat opponents, think about tis logic....

Ward beat up Kessler, which wasnt the expectation. Yet, Kessler won a UD against Froch right after that defeat. Whats the excuse now?

There was only 1 fighter who kept his Zero at the end of the tournament.... Ward

Who hadnt fought a world class opponent for 3 years, losing when he last did, was rusty, unwell, illegally headbutted, that same fighter (Kessler was the one I saw warned for head use), and the fight was in Wards home

Abraham had lost his last 2 S6 fights and been exposed. Simple. Oh and Ward was the home fighter again

Wasnt Ward considered the home fighter again? Yes.
Froch lost to Kessler in Denmark, when he had travel problems. Ward never had anything like that to contend with.
Froch is an old slow fighter, yet he seemed to expose Ward in losing a very close fight

Did Ward fight an undefeated fighter throughout? NO.
Was Ward ever the away fighter like Froch? NO.
Did Ward fight all of the original S6 fighters like Froch? NO
When an opponent pulled out, Ward gets given 2 points and Froch has to fight a replacement. Work that out for yourself

No excuses, it was a good win for Kessler, but also a fact about the S6. Tell me which home fighter DIDNT win when fighting at home? Fact all home fighters won, and Ward was always the home based fighter throughout. What excuses now?
