Gary Corish wins again.

I think Sexton's done, I think he was done after losing to Chisora in second fight. Look at his display against Larry O. Then against Price if someones telling me that's a man who come to win and was confident i will give up watching sport because they was as tame a effort as you will see.

I think he lacked belief and maybe lost the want. Good domestic operator was Sexton but if i was Cornish people i'd have a step up or two then target him later in year..

 

Alright mate, trying to think of a step up for him but the names you would usually think of would give him alot of trouble due to the way they fight. Dallas? shot to hell.

 

Activety is good but what is he learnimg with so few punches coming back,at this moment in time john mc dermott would punch holes through him

 

I agree with you Billy, thats why I said if they got him on a bigger show they could afford to get in a better opponent. Also anyone who charges him would give him alot of trouble which rules out sprott, skelton, big john.

 

I have seen Cornish fight and i dont rate him.

McDermott/Skelton would destroy him.

A good fight for him would be David Howe.

Well his manager might not have much choice as he cant offer tv personally and needs to go with his cap in hand to promoters who do!
Personally i think Gary is just another deluded hype job an obsession by Gilmour to win the british heavyweight title,we heard the same nonsense with Millarvie and he was talented.
Historically Scotland hasnt done anything with Heavyweights on the British scene and unless a real talented lad pops up that trend will continue and if it did i would base him in london for top sparring which Gary clearly cant get at home.
Its ok saying hes started going to England for sparring now but its all the years and experience the others have had already,thats the diffrence.

 

JUST SEEN HIS FIGHT ON LOADED TV, not to bad for a novice, seen much worse, he.s an athletic type, as i reckon very little to them iron pumping heavys.

 

Compare him to when Scott Belshaw & Tom Dallas were both unbeaten?

You could push him into Celtic title fight, against Rogan if Rogan has gone down enough or against Dorian Darch. I cannot see him going much further.
