Looked it, had a vest on so you couldn't really tell.

 

Thompson was 244 for his last fight. He's almost a stone and a half heavier.

 

Just watched, he did look to be carrying abit round the middle but hard to tell for sure.

Tony Thompson has done everything he could do in boxing, he has fought for the World Title twice against the best heavyweight! Trained hard for those fights but was beaten.

He will most likely try and throw the tank at Price in the early rounds, and try and rough him up.

But..? Might get blasted out early in the process.

 

Prices my favourite boxer, he always pays out.

 

People who were saying that Thompson will be a better opponent for Price than Johnson was for Fury atsch

A 41 year old coming in at a career heaviest having been KOd in his last fight

... or a 33 year old coming in at his lightest since 2007 and off the back of a KO win against Alex Lepai??

Which one had the belief and which one was after a paycheck.

I am definitely betting very heavily on Price within 2 having seen this weigh in.

It is pointless for Price to keep taking on shot 40+ year olds there just for the money.

What is he learning or developing? He's 30 years old in 3 months time ..

 

King Pin Johnson is a better fighter than Thompson at any stage of his career.

Thompson is not a bad fighter, but for me! He is a fighter who has done all he can in boxing. He has risen to the top, and only been beaten at the top.

Now..? This is just a job to him, there seems to be less intrinsic motivation.

 

I said this before and will say it again. Thompson is finished IMO his body has grown old and is refusing to shift the weight and tone the way it would when a fighters younger.

Manny Steward said this after Wlad stopped Thompson for the second time he said the shape of Thompson's body from fight 1 to 2 is vast and they knew it was just a case of breaking him down.

He's in there for the money IMO. I think bar his awkwardness which may see him through at least a round or two he's on route to being sparked again.

 

Shame, I was hoping Thompson would give Price a decent fight. Now, I just expect him to get destroyed.

What dont we know anyway, Price is enormous and Thompsons a fatty, we knew this beforehand! Price always looks in great nick, but he seems to be looking more solid and toned with every fight, maybe them massive full english breakfasts he eats have been knocked in the head!

 

I'm not sure you get the concept of how time works, but your comment makes no sense without people being able to predict the future.
