In a UFC fight, Kimbo would win unless he gets starched early on. There is always the possibility of getting hit in the face with a good punch in mixed martial arts. Saying that, Kimbo seems to take a good shot. Probably just not a good shot from a HOF boxer.

In a boxing match, it'd be embarassingly one sided. Kimbo only has a chance to knock James Toney out, and he has a granite chin.

Knock who out? Toney has had 70 plus fights. His been from 160 to heavy and faced BIG punchers and NO ONE has come close to hurting him let alone knocking him out.

That's what I'm saying. Toney has a granite chin, and Kimbo's only way of winning in Boxing is to knock him out with a lucky punch, and that ain't happening. I'm boxing through and through bruva. :good

"Perhaps you missed the announcement made last month that CBS will be airing four two-hour prime time MMA telecasts in the coming year"

"Google MMA and you'll also learn that Anheuser Busch has become a big-time sponsor, once again because of the young male demographic that likes to swill its product while watching these matches. No doubt they handled the Budweiser concession at the Coliseum, as well.

Even billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is getting involved, promoting MMA matches and also airing them on his HDNet channel on DirecTV."

and these comments are from a hater of the sport...
even haters know better than you ever will...keep living in denial.

scurla , what about knees and highkicks ?...Kimbo's boxing sucks compared to Toney but flukes happen too...What would toney do under different circumstances ?...let's say , in the muay thai clinch ?...The ref's not gonna separate the fighters like they do in boxing...

Even though Kimbo ain't a top mma fighter , he'd still have advantages with other forms of striking.. Toney's style works perfectly under specific rules.

He'd get submitted quicker than Ray Mercer.

Kimbo is a full-time MMA fighter now under the tutelege of Bas Rutten. Toney would tap-out within a minute.

im gonna say kimbo , james toney's stamina and conditioning both are horrible , in the last peter fight he was huffing and puffing ect , also i think granite chin or not kimbo looks to be a big puncher , his size and reach advantage would also cause problem for james toney ,i'd like to see kimbo vs shannon briggs but briggs stamina and chin would most likely be his down fall

Slice is more of a phoney than James Toney! JT will land clean bombs on Slice till he falls over in the first round of exhaustion.
