The experts, I just laugh at their level of expertise, if you are fighting at your natural weight it means you will be in tip top shape coming night fight, you would had not sacrifice anything in order to make weight, if Donaire blast Rigondeaux out of there it will not be because he is "bigger", Chavez jr. was much bigger than Maravilla and only won one round and because Martinez got careless, the truly boxing fan should be excite about this fight and of course predicting the outcome of a fight is an integral part of a fan, but they are others that bring nationality, race and all the other crap that make me think that they are more nervous than Donaire himself, for the first time in years and probably his whole career, Donaire is facing a guy that could derail him, some ppl think that by putting down Rigondeaux and his accomplishments will help Donaire, you know who you are, donaire can end the fight with a shot just like Rigondeaux could send D to the hospital with a bruise liver, hopefully we should find out in April, rooting for my countryman all the way and will give credit where credit is do... Just do it Rigondeaux!

 

There's a ton of money to be made at 126 against guys like Lopez, Garcia or Ponce De Leon. That said, he'd have a much more difficult time countering guys that big(compartively speaking) so I agree with his decision to stay put at 122.

 

If i wasnt already convinced that Donaire was going to win by KO.

 

After he defeats Donaire. Rigo doesnt want no compliments. Its just a win. Donaire is now facing someone that puts him on a level playing field. Commend him after the accomplishments he has made in boxing amateur and professional when he has retired.
My final pick after readdressing everything is rigo wins stoppage earlier than usual if donaire is careless and leaves the body open .if at anytime rigo cracks a shot there donaire fans know deep in there souls what that will do. Donaire to win is fight on the back foot totally change his strategy and stink out the joint. Win by points. DO NOT LEAVE THE RIBS EXPOSED LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

 

Those cats at 126 are too big for Rigo. Lopez is asking the winner of this fight for a catch weight fight at 128, Rigo already said no.
Going above 122 is just a horrible move.

 

If it didnt give you an advantage, why would fighters even bother to cut weight and re-hydrate.

Of course it gives you an advantage, especially nowadays,when there safe means of rehydrating and qualified nutritionists around

 

Amateur boxers were already doing that all year- maintaining their fighting weight. Rigo's body is already accustomed to it so it's OK.
