who cares? Khan is gonna be in entertaining fights... his opponents will just want to land punches on his chin/neck from now on. Don't think Khan has the hunger and true passion to prove his critics wrong by doing solid S&C work as well as understanding the ins and outs of when to box and when to pot shot etc. He hasn't even learnt how to box going backwards. Atleast Karim Mayfield can do that.
LOL, did you just say, "Don't think he has the true hunger and true passion to prove his critics wrong by doing solid S&C work"? Seriously bro, do you guys just throw anything at him to make him look bad ? In terms of athleticism, Khan is perhaps one of the best athletes in the 140 division. In order to be considered a good athlete, you need to be able to regularly commit yourself to strength and conditioning workouts and Khan has shown he can do just that. So really, I think you should select your words wisely when criticizing another person.
He's abusing what God gave him. He doesn't know how to use it... he needs to harness it. He's not showing the hardwork and dedication that a Mayweather shows.... Mayweather has all the gifts and ring i.q... but he still works harder than anyone.
Khan's chin is fine. A roided Peterson hit him with everything he had up against the ropes and Maidana battered him in the 10th, he also stood up to a vicious assault from Garcia before being stopped on his feet. His defense however, is awful... he shouldn't be getting hit by those ****ing stupid shots in the first place.
I'm good thanks. Just revising for my final year exams for uni... last one to go next week. What about you? How are those door sales going lol
That sounds hard and boring, I hope you're studying hard bro. Hard work and dedication! It seems tonight I like using the word hard :think
I wouldn't say he's abusing what God gave him. I can agree he doesn't know how to use his skill set to the best of his ability, but I would not blame him, since he can't teach himself. Khan needed a good trainer that can teach him how to become a complete fighter, and I think he's made the right choice in selecting Virgil hunter. Moving along, I disagree with your analogy in comparing Mayweather's work ethics. First and foremost, anyone who doesn't know him personally, nor has ever been to his gym consistently for a fight camp can say he's the hardest working boxer. If your going to say he works tremendously hard just by watching his "24/7" episodes , or hearing anecdotes, then you are deceiving yourself. Floyd Mayweather is great because of his skill set, not his conditioning, and that's not to say its bad.
