I think both are very talented fighters, I have been vocal in the past about Canelo's flaws, if my thoughts are true that he will struggle with a durable, busy world class boxer then Trout should make him work, we'll see. I like Canelo, I like his style and ability, and I like the fact he's ginger and Mexican, bizzare!

Matthyse is a solid grinder, he is developing punching power now which is scary because this guy has solid solid whiskers, he's a good inside fighter, durable, well seasoned, IMO he is the number 1 LWW in the world currently.

In summary, neither are hype jobs, there both very good fighters!

Neither are hype-jobs. Both are elite fighters. Canelo has more hype though.

Lucas has fought the bestin his division and his losses are questionable !Can yellow on the other hand has fought over the hilland smaller guys ,and has yet to beat a legitimate contender in the division that he is supposedto champion !

    no one??

Both of Lucas' losses are highly debatable. That's more respectable than (fighting no one).

Matthyse doesn't get hyped as a superstar. He's simply hyped as one of the best at 140, and one of the biggest P4P punchers in the sport currently. And guess what? He is. He's top 3 at 140, and easily one of the biggest punchers in the sport. Anybody who thinks otherwise is ******ed. Anybody who doubts that he beat Alexander is also ******ed. It was one of the most disgusting robberies of recent years.

Canelo is hyped to be the next star in the mold of Oscar, and Tito, and has yet to beat a legit fighter. His best win so far is over a CORPSE that USED to be Shane Mosley.

Trout is the first legit threat/test of his career, and I have a feeling he won't past the test.

Until he does, the answer here is pretty simple: Canelo is FAR more overhyped!

Lucas is the real deal IMO. Robbed against Alexander and Judah. He's still unbeaten to me. He's going to take some beating at 140. He's a machine.
