    Wasn't Maloney's fault. I'd get rid of Franny Smith to be honest. What the **** was he saying "ge's got nothing" about Thompson after one ****ing round!? Idiot corner advice.

    Although, it could be said that Maloney made a mistake in protecting Price for too long. He should really have faced better opponents before stepping in with Thompson who, let's face it, isn't a slouch.

    What has Frank Maloney got to do with David Price getting knocked out? and how can dropping Maloney improve what just happened?

    I don't get this Price has been held back nonsense. He's fought an Olympic gold medalist in his 14th fight, a HW title challenger in his 15th & a 2 time HW title challenger & a top 8 contender in his 16th.

    If anything he should've been more active in the early days but he's progressed quickly in the last 18 months

    He still shouldn't have lost that though. Thompson isn't exactly a bum but he was clearly coming over for the money. Weight almost 19 stone and was flabby around the middle. Looked like he's just got off his couch after eating a bucket of KFC.

    Pricey's just had an absolute disaster tonight. My heart really hopes he can come back. My head tells me that it's not likely after something like that though. Only time will tell.

    Would've liked to have seen if Manny Steward could do a decent job with him. Obviously that's impossible, but he should look at going to America.

    I have stated exactly that for ages.It is a huge jump to world class.Domestic challenges doesn't prove a thing other than your the toughest guy in your own backyard.Price has just found this out and so will many others who are built up locally and step into the ring who's been there and done that.
