Is Matthysse being set up to fight Peterson in Washington, D.C.?

    First of all, Matthysse was guaranteed to fight the winner of Garcia/Judah, but now he is being pressured to fight Peterson in Peterson's home town, possibly with Peterson's referee and judges. Matthysse was cheated out of a fight he won in Alexander's home town and was cheated out of a win in Judah's home town, a fight in which he won also. If I were Matthysse I would refuse to fight Peterson in Peterson's home town, esp. after Khan was badly cheated by Peterson's referee and judges, at least two of them. It appears that it is legal for Peterson to juice up before a fight, so will Peterson be allowed to juice up for a fight with Matthysse? I think Matthysse would knock Peterson out, but Peterson will probably be protected by his referee and judges. Matthysse has been cheated enough and should know better. This appears to be a set up fight in favor of Peterson. Is Oscar trying to protect Garcia? Matthysse has worked so hard for his fights, only to have been cheated two times, if Matthysse is forced to fight Peterson in Peterson's home town on Peterson's terms, this will be another disgrace. I am not worried about Matthysse knocking Peterson out in neutral territory, but in Peterson's home town Matthysse will need a knockout to get a draw..................and remember, if Peterson is knocked down, Peterson's referee will not call it a knock down, plus, How many new rules will Peterson's referee make up this time? No, this appears to be a clear set up against Matthysse. Will they make Matthysse wear 50 oz. gloves and give Peterson 8 oz.? Boxing can be crooked, esp. with home town decisions. There is no way that Matthysse can get a decision in Washington, D.C., and if Matthysse were to knock Peterson out, they will probably find a way to call it against the rules...............I hope fans can somehow force this fight to be in a neutral territory...............commentators, boxing writers, should do something about this ASAP. I would advise Matthysse to refuse a fight with Peterson and force his guaranteed fight against the winner of Garcia/Judah, after that he can fight Peterson and will have the power to demand the fight to be within neutral territory. I have seen way too many crooked decisions, we are seeing them more and more often. Why did Peterson get by with keeping a title he won on juice?! If Peterson can fight with juice then all should be allowed.......................I enjoy watching Matthysse fight and hate to see his career destroyed by what appears to be crooks.

    I actually made this prediction before a 2013 opponent was picked for Lucas.

    Honestly I didn't think we were gonna get the Garcia fight to begin with, so bring on Lucas v. Peterson

    It'll only make the Garcia fight bigger. Wonder how long their gonna keep protecting this kid though.


    And for the record, Peterson gets the living **** kicked out of him by Lucious.

    If Matthysse is such a "Beast" he should be able to KO Peterson. on top of that he's getting a title shot. what's the matter?

    Yes ring tv mentioned it in D.C. obviously.Lucas wins if it doesn't go to the judges,you're right though he's been robbed enough should be in neutral ground I see him knocking him out anywhere regardless but should be somewhere fair.

    GBP is sacrificing Peterson for Matthaysse.
    They have been hiding their other 2 beltholders (Khan and Garcia) but want to throw Lamont to him 1 fight after a year off. That is absolute BS.

    I don't see why black fighters even sign with GBP.

    GB is just trying to feed people to Matthysse to keep him away from their cash cows.
