Floyd: "I dont know who Robert Guerrero is. They just showed me his picture today"

This was Floyd's response when asked about Guerrero by Brian Kenny during tonights Showtime fights. Brian asked Floyd about Robert and why him? Floyd says because he's his mandatory and that he must have done something right in order to land this shot against him. Then proceeded to say that he doesnt know Robert Guerrero and the first time he seen him was today when they dropped off a picture of him at his hotel room.

 

Hes got an entire country behind him!

 

You would think Floyd would want to big his opponent up and actually promote the fight instead of writing Robert off as some random fighter whom he knows nothing about.

 

Floyd said in that interview that you're talking about that he saw him fight Berto

 

Floyd knows that he doesnt have to talk Robert up because he has Canelo/Trout on his undercard.

 

All hype, he knows exactly who he is.

 

How is this hype? What is the upside of saying that you dont even know your opponent? :huh

I call BS. Like bball said above, Floyd said that he earned he shot and that he saw him against Berto. TS is idiot.

Basically, hype is just another word for bull****. People normally use it to exaggerate a product, event, skills etc. It was more subtle the way Floyd played it cause he knows that man and to say he doesn't is exaggerated bull****.:bbb

 

Floyd: I have no idea who Robert is, my health shouldn't be in danger. Now Pacquiao is a different story, health come first with Pacquiao though.
