Never boxed but thinking of starting soon, Hatton and Calzaghe got me into boxing, but I will always prefer football to boxing.

have trained and boxed for about 4 years had about 5 fights will probable call it quits soon the dedication it requires could be best used somewhere else. Also recently I have come to the conclusion I prefer training, working out and sparring then fighting and making weight

Was a casual fan for years, only really watching the big fights (Hatton, Calzaghe, Khan etc) but, since the Froch vs Bute fight I've gotten into boxing much more and have started watching most televised fights.

My relationship with boxing started when I saw a copy of my Dad's Boxing News just after Marvin Hagler murdered Alan Minter, blood all over Minter's face on the front cover. I was hooked, call me bloodthirsty, call me what you want, I wanted more. The first big fight I watched (on TV) was Hagler-Hearns, I was hooked. These days I'll watch anything boxing - I won't watch any MMA, by the way. I'm the stupid **** who will watch a couple of skinny ****ers from Japan (Akira Yaegashi - Pornsawan Porpramook) knock each other to pieces at 4am my time, I'm the ****ing idiot who will trawl through boxing magazines searching for stuff I didn't already know, I'm the idiot who gets up early to watch fights that are way outside of my time zone knowing I have to go to work in a couple of hours.

    I love boxing.

Boxed as an amateur, never had the dedication that others had to go beyond club level, wish I'd gone the extra mile.

Still train at a pro gym when I'm fit enough and father time allows, coached for a little while at an am club

It's the only sport I follow with any interest

Have been watching boxing since I was a kid, for US based fights (i.e Bruno v Tyson) I would have to go to be at 9pm and be woken up by my dad just before it started - mum wouldn't let me stay up all night (to be fair I would have only been 10 years old)

Brief spells of training throughout my life, for exercise purposes (uncompetitive).

As a photographer (Music, Portrait & Event but not specifically sports related) I have however done coverage for a few amateur bouts (In Sydney, Australia) and would like to one day get more involved in the Boxing Photography side of things here in UK.

I have Box Nation, Sky Sports (for Boxing solely) and subscribe to Boxing Monthly Magazine.

    In short ... I am a fan!

Casual Fan - Intermediate fan, Boxing is probably ny favourite sport although I enjoy alot of different sports, not enough to donate to Boxnation though!

I go to boxercise classes 3 times a week, so not specific to boxing but do alot of the excersizes that a boxer would do, have lost weight, increased strengh and fitness and from a fitness perspective is very effective.

A fan first and foremost. used to write a blog focusing on Scottish boxing and boxers, but had to give it up as couldn't give enough time to it .

More recently been helping out a few small hall promotors with publicity more than anything -ranging from Preas Relea,s to putting posters up .And running Facebook pages and twitter .

Plans afoot for another role later in the year, but don't want to tempt fate!

All in all enjoy the exposure and experience I get!

Had 14 amateur bouts, won 6 lost 8. 5 of my six wins came via ko.
Had to stop fighting when my heart packed in.
Now I train a lot of white collar boxers as well as a pretty successful amateur squad.
I coach boxing for a living now.

Got into the sport as a spectator in 2005. Ive followed sports but have loved none like i love boxing. Allways regreted i discovered this love so late ( i was 22 at the time) and didnt have the bottle to give it a go , but for the last 8 years its eaten away at me so last year i finally wrapped my hands , laced the gloves and started training (boxing , ive always weight trained). Ive signed to do a whit collar bout in june just to start , and will see how i get on. Ive been sparring the last few weeks and im enjoying it altough taking the shots and the fitness in the ring is taking some getting used to.
