I don't think he'll get to the top, hopefully he'll somehow get to European and fringe world level though. Will be extremely difficult for him to progress now.

I hope that he can get to at least European level but now that everyone knows about how fragile he can be its going to be open season. Pile the pressure on him and he will fold like a bad poker hand

The good thing for him is that he is clearly the best fighter at domestic level, he'll blow Towers away if he fights him and if Pulev gives (or has given, not up to date on that) he could be close to fighting for that title and I'd fancy his chances against quite a lot of the European heavyweights.

TBH I didn't see It coming like 99% of fans I thought Thompson was washed up and was there for the Taking for Price a perfect notch on the old CV. Credit to Thompson though he timed that shot perfectly It didn't look like a devastating shot but It got the job done.

I still think Price could become a World Champion (Before the fight I was convinced he would) but I do worry over his Chin and defense though.

I know that this might sound ridiculous but after Saturday I'm not sure he would beat Towers....purely from a mental point of view. Towers would really fancy his chances and Price would be as nervous as **** because it would be his career on the line. Prices next fight will tell us an awful lot about him as a person I think.

I just think Towers is awful, he should have lost his last fight. Hopefully Price can come back, his fighting instinct is questionable though.

Price is "clearly the best"? Or do you mean Fury.

Towers is awful, but he's a big strong lad who deep down has something he wants to prove....I could see Price folding, I hope not because that would be a sad thing to see

    Fury is above Domestic level.

I was at the fight and the one point were i thought this could go wrong was when he pinned thompson against the ropes and started unloading.
In previous bouts at domestic level the opponents just folded but you could see thompson wasn't fazed in the slightest and was just biding his time waiting for his chance to pounce.
That chance came about a minute later and fair play to him he took it.

Not even kidding everytime I hear you'll never walk alone I expect a massive fail.

    But I didn't think he'd get KO'd.

:deal When Thompson was blocking, slipping all of the shots when Price unloaded to the body, his head was wide open and had 0 defence, Thompson threw a left counter from the ropes and clipped David, pushing him back

It was early in the 2nd round I thought he was a bit open and that Thompson was looking to time him.

I knew Price was going to get knocked out in the near future after Fatty McDermott briefly took it too him and he shat himself, freaked out and ran backwards to the ropes in a straight line. He did it when Skelton briefly had a go too.
