Agreed. Audley kept him at the end of his punches and tied him up when he got in close. He needed to take more risks to get inside that long reach and didn't.

Yes. I thought it much was closer than the scores would indicate.

Amen to that, a few days can be a long time in a family.

Seeing this on Twitter, fear that this story may grow legs. RJJ will not be fighting Rogan in Belfast, Bermuda or anywhere else if I had to put money on it. How did this even begin, is the WBU title vacant again or something?

I'm not gonna complain as Kavanagh needs to be kept active and he'll be getting good exposure here, but this opponent is a blown up Super-Bantamweight who hasn't fought in 5 1/2 years. If Jamie can't stop him and look impressive doing so it'll reflect very badly on him.

At least he's fighting soon anyway.

    Yeah it is

I agree Big Ears, they offered the fight to a couple of others but no joy, i expect to see a vast improvment in opponents after this one. As you said at least he is fighting, It is live on tv so a good performance and show a bit of improvment defence wise is what i will be looking for from this fight oh and the win of course :good

Is there any plans for Kavanagh to fight back in Ireland any time soon?
